Yes, we should delete all old users, everybody who is 30 and something must go! |

If I amm not mistaken he suggests:
1) To delete members who have "never made a team".
2) To delete members who have made a team but "never played a game" .
He did not suggest to delete members who just haven't been around for quite some time. These members would be unaffected by his suggestion (as long as they have played at least one game no matter when).
He did not suggest to delete formerly active members who just haven't played for quite some time. |
Mirascael had it all right, exactly. |

If anything, we would do the opposite: anyone under Christer's age would be terminated. |

But whole thing was based on saving of disk space. If we delete some no-names-mentioned 30-something players we will free way more space. And besides everybody that old should be Adult and do Adult things like rising family, making money, working in factory and definetly not playing games. Specially games with little toy-men, huh! |

but i think i registered my normal handle that I use everywhere else, which is just "Athoria", a long, long time ago, But i tried to register with that name and it said it was taken. But the name is not in the coach list anywhere. So I had to use my alternate, which you see to the left. My handle is usually very unique. I never have a problem with it being used. I tried to log in as it with all the passwords I normally use, but no luck, so I just make a new account - Athoria69. I am wondering, does a inactive coach by the handle of Athoria exist somewhere in the database? Not shown in the coach list?
Maybe if it does, my data record could be transfered over to that name, or my name changed or something. I would rather use my normal handle. Out of all my mail, irc, news, websites, etc... this is the only one that is different.
Kinda stupid I know, but little crap like that bugs the hell outta me...

Acheron made me look up the coaches stats... I'm out of the top 10 played games!
That's what happens when you search for jobs too eagerly. |

If you have a bunch of odds and ends, and you give all of them away except for one. What do you call it?? |

I'm no expert on this issue, but possibly that might save time with regard to all those queries or search functions? |

looking at my recent past on fumbbl, I cannot agree with this proposal.
I was used to play a lot before the informatic revolution of fumbbl. "A lot" in those days was about 4 games a week...
Then it cames the new fumbbl and I created my first team.
Due to my job, for one (or even more) year I was not able to play a single game with that team.
Now I have the time to play every now and then, so I think to see my acount deleted after one year of absence would have left no good impression to me.
