With all your efforts to tart up the league with new logo's and player pics I decided to follow suit.
Gary Lineker is so happy with the new fancy look to the league he decide to offer you a special 'Match of the Day' ball and a big cheesy grin.

While not offering gifts, Gazza does seem to be offering encouragement to keep up the good work.

Hi guys, i dont know who was watching my game the other day in the Wraithbone League run by Chewie, but it happens that i typed something really quite funny about jesus and his homies then managed to turn the game into a 1-1 tie, so i though although i am just a OBBA reserve at the moment i'd like to put a new award forward. The award being given for a miraculous turnaround either winning or Drawing against all odds, you know that kind of thing.
Names wise, urm,
The Holy Spirit Award
The Buddy Christ Award for perserverance and fortitude
anything like that, please post some suggestions. |

It was me watching it - and I liked it, but I don't know how you'd award it. There was a plan at one stage for a 'goal of the week' - not sure how that was to be voted on. |

TD of the round was to be done by nomination and then vote.
It's actually a lot of effort for people to perhaps replay those games as it never really took off.
If someone wants to head this up then they have the staff backing, just that Chewie and I are busy with the running of our groups to undertake this.
I'll be running a Manager of the Season award in a similiar fashion, nominations then poll for winner at the end of the season. |

I can look at TD of the round but i'll need the coaches to be honest about it though and only pu there team and game forward f they do genuinely think it was either a touch of genious or a great turn of luck and monster rolls.
In the same wa the buddy C could be awarded like that as well with a coach voting himself or his opponent if they think it matches the miraculous result criteria, say you are 1-0 down suffer 5 casualties in one turn have only 6 players left and manage to tie that sort of effort would qualify same the other way round 1-0 up suffer massive casualties and manage to hold for the win.
Sera, i have started work on a trophy top, if you want to see it by e-mail if you have Photoshop i can send as a photoshop file |

If you want to run these for Season 3 Alan, then I'm happy with that. I already have a TD of the Month award, maybe should be changed though to have a football and also TD of the round. |

ahh k i'm confused lol, is it TD of the round currently or of the month relatively speaking with people playing when free i think TD of the round would be easier perhaps? i mean i'm happy to look at suggested replays whenever called for so just tell me when.
I've just sent chewie a copy of the trophy top but i'm stuck on the bottom maybe you can find one or finish the thing off in your own time, i mean to be honest i think you may just ave a little well a lot more ability with photoshop than me lol, did you want to see were i'm up to. |

I'm working right now, but feel free to post your pic on here.
The origonal idea was a TD of the Month. But to be quite frank, if it's you who is putting in most of the effort to get this running then I'm happy to let you decide the period of time, be that week, bi-week, month or round.
I do think though that having a TD of the round might be a lot of work given that their are seven rounds in the divisional season, especially for someone who is not yet active in the group.
Whatever you decide though, it is much appreciated. |

hmm i get your point, but if coaches are honest in their application for the TD award then that should cut the work down quite a lot
well in short i dunno how to put the pic on here lmao never mind ask cheiwe he seen a copy lol.
Do it by the round, start in season 3 so that it starts from scratch. i'm happy to undertake this |

One problem might be that after disconnections, the replay can get messed up.
EDIT:
You know, you could just do it as a "Whatever TD I see that I think is best/most unlikely/outrageously fortunate". If the replay isn't there - tough. The match wasn't televised. Or you could produce a shortlist of the top 2 or 3, and stick up a poll |

Right then....
I hereby put forward any TD I score and any result I get that's not a defeat, because all these are surely a great triumph over my incompetence/stupidity and must therefore qualify as special (just like me). |

That's the spirit Stu, put Alan off before he even gets started.
Stu is silly Alan, ignore him... the rest of us usually do. |
