This is for anyone participating in the GLT qualifiers : Please get your matches done! Some qualis are finished already, and the winners of these may be able to play matches in between while waiting for the tournament draw.
If quali winners are able to get some refresher games before the draw, this gives the early finishers a HUGE advantage over the teams that are done later. Yes there is some risk to playing games, but since most people coming out on top are decent coaches, the Pros outweigh the Cons by a truckload.
If it were up to me, I'd rule that no in between games be permitted until all qualis have been decided. Maybe have a few days to recover, at least that way every team has the same amount of time to try to build cash and get back MNG injuries. |
