This is what I got as official answer:

round((10000 * min(10, (10*numRounds^3)/125) / (numRounds - currentRound + 1)) / 5000)

Im bad in maths, but for me it looks like a joke answer. Question

Hmm.... Wouldn't "numRounds" be 8 in this case? And "currentround" anywhere from 1 to (and including) 8?. That would make this part: min(10, (10*numRounds^3)/125) = 10 and the whole thing between 5/2 and 20 which does not make much sense. But if one omits the /5000 part it becomes:

Round:

1: 15000
2: 15000
3: 15000
4: 20000
5: 25000
6: 35000
7: 50000
8: 100000

Could perhaps be true?

It depends on the race, coach, TR, CR, TS, natioality, application day and how the weather is in southern california. Then some difficult Maths come in and you will lack 5000 to buy Ramtut.

I believe the /5000 notation means that you should round to the nearest 5000.

Ah, maybe so. But thats not how I interpret the formula, even though that may be the way it's intended to be interpreted. I'd probably replace the "/" with a "," since that seems to be more correct. And I won't argue with you , since I believe you're right Smile

The numbers seem pretty probable right? (I love numbers more than people)
