Try the 8th Street Games Workshop. I know the manager is a big fan of the game and possibly looking for players to fill out the league |

I've tried that SO many times and heard SO many rumors about leagues. It's all lies. 
GW wants nothing to do with BB. You can play if you bring friends and such.
I'm in NYC. I'd def be up for some games once my life gets easier in January.
There is definitely a league in Brooklyn. Actually, not definitely. Rumors again.
