Warpston Open IV Qualifier #2
BREAKING NEWS!!!
Well Fumbll fans it looks like the Eaters and Zharr-Nuffrand game is being held up. But the inside scoop is that Coach Jack Daniels has just received information that the Felons have 6 Probation hearings coming up in the next few days, he wants to stall it out a little to see how the hearings play out. It seems that some of those Innocent Felons have come under the scrutinizing gaze of the authorities and maybe their Inocence is false. We need to keep and eye on this development and see how it plays out.

Warpstone Open IV Qualifier #2
Well FUMBBLERS the final is set in the #2 Qualifier and I have to say it is a classic match up. Maybe the best match up of all the qualifiers.
Well the Eaters did not get the result they wanted from the Parole board on Friday. The Felons hired out the best Hob lawyer in ALtdorf, Grungy "greassy palms" Cochrain. Well Grungy held up the meeting for over an hour with non sense and procedurial stuff and then went on a tirade about injustices in the Hob community and sayings like "If the boot dont fit you must aquit" and "Justice for Hobs is justice for all". Well needless to say after 3 hours of BS the commision just gave up and sent the Felons on their way and cleared them of all charges of parole violation.
Well now that the side show at the commision is over it sets up the Titanic match up. This match has it all Blood Bowl fans. It is a cant miss affair, the Warpstone Open commitee needs to make sure this one is broadcasted in "prime time" for all the Fumbblers to witness.
The story lines in this match will effect the rest of the Warpstone and maybe the future of these two teams. On the Eaters side of things they are once again faced with the daunting task of 5 handicaps against them. They have one MNG and 2 guys carrying niggles. So Virus will play its part in this match. With 15 players it looks good. If the Felons can sneak the Purple Gatorade into the dugout of the Eaters and they fall for it and take on Virus, well that will be a game changer. Virus with either Greatest or Morleys will make this match extremely tough for the Eaters. If the Eaters are bounced from the Warpstone with a finals loss, is the luster off this team? After last years futility in majors some are starting to wonder if the Eaters are all hype but no substance, man they look good on paper but once the team hits the field and equal footing with other teams they just wilt under the onslaught.
The Felons are poised to storm into the main draw and be a force in the Warpstone. A win over the Eaters will solidify their team as a top notch contendor. Will the Felons play this one close to the vest and just go for the win? or will their criminal past come back to haunt them as they attempt to demolish the Eaters, forget about the score board, and attempt to retire the Eaters on the pitch by decimating their squad? The Felons Bulls need to bring it in this game because they give their side an edge in this one.
WOW! now this should be fun for all Fumbblers regardless of your view of ranked play and majors. Two of the top coaches on Fumbbl with trully legendary teams going at it with real stakes on the line. I hope every one can have a shot to spectate this game and cheer or boo these two teams on.
Competitive Eaters 436/322 Jack Daniels VS Innocent Felons 262/259 Emphasy
Well in this titanic match the Felons have a really good shot to pull the upset. The Eaters are going to have to bring the A game in this one to pull it out. If the Handis go the Felons way it will get ugly and some one needs to keep and eye on the ref, if the calls start to fall in the Felons direction the Eaters will have to worry about their mortality. This game is a tough call but Iam going to go with:
Felons over the Eaters 3-1! I suspect the Eaters are going to have their hands full in this match and the Felons are going to show up with some 2X4's and go to town on the Eaters.

CAMP VICTORY
Well Camp Victory is really bumming as we enter the weekend. All the Human teams except the German Boneheads have departed from the Warpstone Open and the Camp is trully just a camp at this point. Many of the teams have just gone home feeling they have no shot in the lottery or want no part of the main draw. A few of the teams are still hanging out waiting for the lottery and supporting the Boneheads on their run in qualifier #1. We will have to wait and see if one of the human teams draw one of the lucky tickets and bring that loving feeling back to victory or will it disband after the qualifiers?
Well my job on Qualifier #2 is allmost done and I look forward to the Main draw were I will once again be on the job to report to you the happenings at the Warpstone Open and my insightful predictions and commentary.

WO IV Qualifier IV predictions
Final
Higgis Haubencenter (Wood Elf, 232/233, coached by TheCount) vs Democracia (Chaos, 279/211, coached by Wop)
This game will be agility versus bashiness pur sang. The star the chaos can bring won't help that much in comparison with the wizard the Wood Elves can bring. Synn couldn't kill the oneturner so I guess this game goes to the Wood Elves (as I predicted at the start of the qualifiers ). If the game goes to overtime, again the chaos will win though.
Higgis Haubencenter- Democracia: 2-1.
Actual result: 1-0.
Result for third round predictions: 1/2 winners. Again no right result.

Warpston Open #2 FINALS MATCH
Get ready to rumble FUMBBL fans as the finals match has been set today at 20:00 BB time! the fans are allready at the stadium and the tail gating has been going on since yersterday once the time was set. SO come on out and witness the Fianls match first hand and get ready for one really exciting match. Will the Eaters establish themselves as true champions in this one? OR will the Felons take it to the Eaters and lay a devasting blow on the Eaters and send them off the pitch in droves? Come on out and see what happens. |
