Buy another slayer, they help you cope with higher ST players and one isn't enough. Ideally you want 2 slayers with MB as your designated hitters.
A 2nd runner for the extra mobility.
I wouldn't put a 4th RR as a priority, dorfs dont need that many. |

Will you follow the advice if the last option gets the most votes? |

I think the victory of that option was assured from the start. |

Low TR 3 RR is enough, and 12 players is probably enough as well.
you just got 2nd runner which is a must have. Drop #9; save up and get another slayer. |

I'd buy one last Longbeard from the money that you have. 13 players is a good, and Beards are a pain to skill - better give him as many chances as possible to earn his SPPs.
Stay at just one Slayer for now - they're money drains. |

I get your point but against so many orcs, undead, Khemri, etc. I found myself with a serious lack of strengh, even with guards, and i like the fear to use the sides that frenzy does... |

Which is why you should have one Troll Slayer - the threat of Frenzy is often more important than the reality of it.
Two isn't nearly as important, and also, they are fragile and expensive. If you have severe problems with the opponent's strength, consider taking Dauntless on a Longbeard on a double. |

what johan said
also i consider a second runner more important than a second slayer. Frenzy has the counterpart of leaving the slayer often in vulnerable positions, and being av8 makes him a juicy target for blitz-foul. It's harder to handle this with 2 frenzy dudes in the team. (i have to admit i am a retarded Frenzy user, and i often mess up using this skill) |

They´re expensive... as all the dorf team, just 20.000 more than the linos and av8 make them more fragile but it´s not so bad.
I will consider the dauntless option if the time comes (no luck with dobles yet) and i have to agree about the counterpart of frenzy (handle with care).
I think i´ll save the money for the second slayer... but maybe it´s a mistake (as the +AG for the lino) xP
P.S. the poll question it´s outdated, kind people of the forum, stop asking me to retire them!! plz |

+AG on a Linebeard is... okay. It's not nearly as good as Guard or MB in itself, but it's better than any third-skill alternative. So it's a decent long-term skill pick, although you'll suffer a little for it for a while. Try to use the +AG 'beard to score with now and then - you really want Guard.
(Also with +AG, any double should go to Stand Firm.) |
