Maybe its just me, but whenever there are two block dices and one is chosen, I get the feeling that the dice that is faded out is the one that gets chosen.

Anyone else feel the same? Yes. I know.. its a matter of getting used to,

but it led me to think: maybe instead of fading out the block dice not chosen, the client could highlight the chosen dice instead?

Just a thought... Smile

Not sure what the international standards is for this, but I've seen application using both version (fading selected, and fading non-selected). As long as it's consistant through FFB what is chosen, I have no objections, but I can see the how it can be unusal if you're not used to it.

I guess... unless anyone can point to a scientific study of what is generally more intuitive, it might not be an idea to change it "back" Wink

How about doing both? Highlighting the chose & fade the discarded? Razz

The most intuitive is just hiding the one(s) not selected Wink

Just a sidenote: If we change something, then the wording should be changed from the wrong "select a block dice" to the correct "select a block die" as well...

The idea about highlighting the chosen and fade the discarded is a good idea.

I second that.

(i find the current the most intuitive, i disliked the former version.. i guess we are just wired different Smile)
