Kalimar must be banned forthwith, it's an absolute disgrace. I want his head on a plate.
Exhibit A, from the site rules:
"All players and teams must be named. Make an effort figuring out names. We don't want silly names like 'Lineman 1' or offensive names."
Exhibit B, from my current game:
"Journeyman1 starts a Block Action.
Journeyman1 starts a Move Action.
Dodge Roll [ 2 ]
Journeyman1 trips while dodging.
Roll a 4+ to succeed (AG 2 + 1 Dodge + Roll > 6).
Armour Roll [ 3 ][ 3 ]
Rolled Total of 6
Journeyman1 has been saved by his armour."
I rest my case.

On a more serious note, is there any chance a random name generator could be added to the client? It's hardly important, but it would be great to have some extra colour by way of actual names for the poor saps, uh I mean brave souls, who fill out the LOS, uh I mean, give their all for the team... |

... or better yet: Would it be possible to set up a system where we could add a small list of names (possibly even for each team, somehow included in the roster maybe) for our journeymen? |

While I definitely am all for random name generator, mainly because I am absolutely terrible at coming up with names (its about 75% of what holds me back from making new teams at any given moment) I rather like that the Journeymen are named JourneymanX. It helps rather well to differentiate them from your normal players quickly. |

I would suggest having a random name generator for the journeymen, then adding a (JM) to the end to differentiate him. |

This just goes to show how much he is corrupting the attitudes of so many other fumbbl coaches because his actions go unchecked. He is like the pied piper of rules violations on this site. Calling coach after coach away from skijunkies client and where are the sanctions from the Admins? They are asleep at the wheel and often times joining in on these violations.

To be honest, i would prefer another icon and a new playerpic for the journeymens to. I just hate to score that touchdown to a journeyman.
Maybe whatball can create icons where the player looks a little anxious and afraid... |

Journeymen should be handled by the website. Journeymen should not be enforced (or even added) by the client. Its part of the roster handling sequence.
I prefer my journeymen to be called things like Freebooter Fred or Temporary Tim

Hmm should you be able to change the name of these journeymen if you choose to hire one after a game? otherwise admins will have to work overtime on namechanging. |
