I'm pretty busy at the moment and doubt I can fit in any full games, but I would like to start getting to grips with this client. Is it possibly to play against yourself as it is with the stuntyleeg BOTOCS client?
If it is, could someone tell me how or point me towards some instructions? |

Yes it is possible, but the result will not be recorded, so you will simply be playing with yourself for fun *smurk*. Just open a game as you would normally, using one of your teams as the server and one as the client. |

The client's really easy to use, even if you've never played online BB in any form (as you have). And people are generally very friendly in game here. You should be at least 99% confident that you can squeeze in a game in one and a half hours. One hour is very manageable, especially if you play quickly (in terms of not planning every move to death) yourself and do most of your chatting during the opponents turn. The client certainly enables very fast play. I assume connection issues can slow things down somewhat but that hasn't yet happened to me in close to 30 games. |

As I'm a new poster, I decided not to put the thread title as Playing WITH Myself as I wasn't sure if Mods would like it 
@WhatBall - thanks, that's exactly what I'm looking for.
@Ullakkomorko - I'm slow. Due to usually playing very late at night after a hard day at work. Also, with my 5 month old son, one and a half hours isn't guaranteed. My first time to play with someone else will have to wait. |

Hey f_alk and RedDevilCG. RedDevilCG, I'll keep an eye out for you. The time when I can sometimes play full games is Sunday evenings Japan time (+8GMT). I'm still hoping stuntyleeg sorts out some kind of complete client as it'll take me forever to rebuild my teams on here, or I'll only play one or two races. But the client here looks VERY good and will eventually have all things BOTOCS doesn't, animosity, etc, plus people have been very helpful, so I guess it's just a matter of time before I completely convert. |
