I have just been lurking in the shadows waiting for the client to be released and as such have no idea if this has been raised before.
If you log in as a spectator you are presented with the option of either spectating the original game you selected or viewing a list of current games. It would be really awesome if this was able to be accessed after that initial login screen so that it wasn't necessary to keep going back to the FUMBBL games page and reloading the client. |

Click on game then games at the top of your home page as the current games are there, and you can spectate them from there. |

I would go one step further. Make a really simple client, that originally only shows the available games and by opening a game, it shows/opens the game client. If all the icons could be downloaded and saved on each pc, the specs can switch easily between the games and spectate multiple games. There would only be one game client open, which reloads the current data from the game, that is chosen to be spectated.
This would make things a lot easier. If there is only one client some day, then there is no need for a "games" page. |

Think he knows that already, he's asking for you to be able to always access the spectating logon no matter where you login from. |

@Garion - point is that the functionality is there that you could potentially be flicking between games in the single client screen without ever having to return to that page. All it requires is to somehow make it accessible after having logged in on the client. |

Oo, nice one. If I may add to the same list, I think it could be really nice to have some sort of functionality to have a "client", that produces a smaller image of the game as a picture in web. Then you could design the whole Games-list interface to look prettier, and perhaps you could add something like a random game snapshot to the profile-main or forums or something. How about to put the game image to "main" every time there is a /cheer? The image link would of course open the proper client to spectate the game in the image, a sort of an advertisement of interesting games of sorts.
Perhaps something like this could be implemented after the client main functionality is more mature, like in the end of this or next year or so. |
