Propylene glycol (57-55-6) is unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, an important raw material, the amount of this total consumption of propylene glycol about 45%, this unsaturated polyester Used extensively for surface coatings and reinforced plastics.
Propylene glycol viscosity and good moisture absorption, and non-toxic, and thus in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, widely used as dehumidifying agents, antifreeze, lubricants and solvents. In the food industry, propylene glycol and propylene glycol fatty acid ester fatty acid reaction, mainly used as a food emulsifier; propylene glycol is a good flavoring and coloring solvents.
Propylene glycol used in the pharmaceutical industry for manufacturing various types of ointment, grease solvents, softeners, and excipients such as propylene glycol and various spices have good mutual solubility, which is also used as solvents and softening cosmetics Agents and so on. Propylene glycol is also used as a moistening agent of tobacco, mildew, food processing equipment, oil and food marking ink solvents. Propylene glycol antifreeze solution is effective.

PG is clearly OP. Its good moisture absorption combos too well with MB.

It should count as 30TV or the Box will be overrun by Claw-PGMBers.

you can also use propylene glycol to store insect specimens (at least short term) prior to DNA extraction and genetic analysis
