I don't think the problem is CLPOMB so much as it is the ease with which the combo can be acquired.
That and that most races cannot have the combo or a significant counter to the combo.
For example AG5 is Broken... but AG5 is relatively rare because a player can only get it if they roll an 11 on a skill upgrade. Players with a base AG3 can get it but it is extremely rare and players with AG2 or AG1 can never get it.
I think it is fine that certain teams the potential to obtain an in game advantage like CLPOMB. If only there was a way to make the CLPOMB more difficult to obtain for a few teams. Skaven and Underworld do not have too much CLPOMB for example. Chaos, Pact and Nurgle SHOULD be more deadly than Rats... but not as deadly as they can be under the current rules. Not sure what to say about Chaos Dorfs. |

Nope, because it's broken.
Just because you enjoy the whole 'kill all mens' game, & that's fine as that's your prerogative, doesn't mean that the skill stack is balanced.
Anyways, this was just an exercise in fun for me. I have no ambitions to push change to rosters. |

What Pact really needs (along with the whole of Blood Bowl), is Random Skill rolls |

There's goblins with normal M access, or with none. None with doubles.
There's skaven with normal M access, or with doubles.

I like that you gave the skaven two heads for 10k, I think that makes him viable (especially on a roster that doesn't have insane linos). |

Ok, I am aware of that, but this is semantics sir.

Yes. This is a pretty common thing in allot of rosters so I purposely gave the skaven a discount so people would want to use him. |

I like the goblin as a full UW goblin, actually (M on normals). Don't mind it that much on the elf and skaven either.
Bottom line:
Mutations on players without GS access are fun.
Mutations on players with GS access are not fun. |

Yeah I kinda agree there & I also was thinking to give the Troll mutation access on regs as well; being the regenerating monsters they are. In fact...
DONE! |

Yeah, that's why I play my no-Mutations Pact. A team full of Human Linos with added S access for effectively 5k per (considering TRRs) is a blast to play. |

Pact are part of the problem.
Marauder should not be 50k, with so much skill access. (This is unfair)
Marauder being 60k fixes the pact problem. Or remove S access. Pick one.
Any solution more complex than this will only make the problem worse. |

yeah but if you start changing players based on skill access, elven linemen becomes HUGE problems with the system.
and apparently elven players think losing G access on their linemen only would somehow be the death of them. |
