Thanks guys.
The Beast ended up taking Block. As mentioned I don't do a lot of blocking with him and it will ally with Stand Fim very nicely. albinv, I wish it had been the Beast in my Rookie League team !! But that Beast is only a few points away so I can always dream!!
This thread seems to me to be bscoming a great resource for those who want to play Nurgle so thanks everyone for the input so far! |

Claw first is for frenzy bigs. It doesn't make a lot of sense turning a BON into a blitzer with claw. Since he's the penultimate roadblock, I think Block/Standfirm is great.
Pro I would probably only take on a halfling treeman, and dodge on big who had break tackle and juggernaut. |

Block.
I merely have disagreed to "Block on all first doubles for a big guy". |

I have basically agreed with others that I will try out Chaos in the next Rookie League (not a huge leap but a bit different. What do you think? |

Well it's all up to what you enjoy personally.
That said, Chaos plays very closely to the way Nurgle plays.
I would suggest playing either an elf team to see how you like their game, or going with zons to get a feel for how you have to play a st3 team that has no ag4.
Or even dwarves (though a lot of people hate them) because their lack of MA means you really have to work on being careful positionally. |

It's my thread and I am gonna threadomance it!
Beast in the Box. Yea or Nay? I am running one at present cos I love 'em, but what is the view here? I understand that big guys are a bit of a waste in the Box (I wouldn't have a Chaos Mino for instance) but the Beast just seems so valuable to a Nurgle team.
Thoughts? If the prevailing view is it is a waste then if it dies I probably wouldn't replace it. But I am interested to know. |

They are fine early but they are too much TV when you are somewhat developed. |
