I am sad to report that EMU Season #5, set to start on Feb 1, 2005 has been cancelled.

Due to my new commitments as Editor of the GLN I have have decided I won't be able to justice to the paper and EMU. So basically the way it looks is there will not be an EMU season until I get fired (I'd guess within the year) from my position as GLN Editor.

If someone I know and trust is willing to take over the running of the EMU, I'd be more than happy to hand it over to them, but considering the amount fo work required its not something I'd want to dump onto someone.

Thanks to all who helped make EMU the most notorious and successful group on Fumbbl. Special thanks to those who have helped on the administrative side for the last two seasons (and I hope you will consider joining me as we attempt to revive the GLN).

This is a pretty sad post for me to write, as the EMU has been a big part of my Fumbbl life, and I feel that it did foster a spirit of community (perhaps an antagonistic one mind you) here at Fumbbl like few other groups have (both within the group, and more importantly, by offending the moral majority).

That is sad ... I enjoyed EMU alot ... and I played as Elves !

Oh well, I am sure the wait for EMU 5 will be worth it.
