1. Click help.
2. Type in 'advanced bbcode (or just bbcode) in the search box at the bottom.
I would guess what you need is there somewhere. |

Well, I had a look at it yes, but did not see any centered tables when I clicked a few of the example page links. So I then figured I could either spend a few hours going through everything, or else ask a kind soul to help out here
[EDIT] I had already followed most of the threads from the advanced link, it seems there are not many tables in the example pages. I also searched on the web for an answer, all before posting here. Still stuck... |

You add "automargin", like this:
[table automargin]
...
[/table]
Works for blocks, too. |

You're welcome. I remember it took me quite some time to find out and I think I had to ask, too. |

There are two other things I can't work out, after some considerable trial and error. First, how to center align the text within each table entry without repeating the command for each and every entry. Second, how to make a border that goes around each table entry (rather than just around the table as a whole)? |

You can definitely center align the text by adding it to the table row:
[tr=center]...[/tr] (If you then want single columns not to be centered, you'd have to add [td=left] in every row for that particular column.)
I think it even works for the whole table ([table=center]).
Don't know about the border thing, I've been wondering about that myself. |

Can someone help me please? |

How do you mean pal? It looks just like the complex table example here:

It is indeed
I mean, there's a gap of several lines between the table and the league info/rules blocks, like if I used the [ br ] tag several times. Can'tunderstand where it came from... |

is it possible to have tables side-by-side? or is that only possible with panels?
see E.L.F. for example.
and is the header colour of panels adjustable? or is it always green |
