Just thought of something. Not sure if it would be overly complex to implement, but might be an interesting idea.
On the main player home page, in the listing of teams in the league division, what about a line that states what league, if any the team is currently in. For example.
Team in League FC Human (other info etc)
Current league: Example League
Other Team BBC Orc (other info etc)
Current league: None
I see two benefits:
1) FOr people in multiple leagues, it would allow them to see which league is being referred to without having to open a new tab to check
2) For people browsing other players' pages, it would give free advertisement to the leagues.
Example:
Awesome Dudes FC (info)
Current league: Awesomecoolnewleague INc.
"Oh, I want to join that!"
etc. |

sounds like a good idea, the current group page is a little out of date (it's updated but could need a rebuild).
This could be a good way to promote, like you say, but also a tool for commishioners to keep track of what leagues a team has been playing in (each team would have a league history). |

You should of course always state(and probably link to) which league your team plays in in its team bio.
But yeah would be nice to see it on the home page too. |

Team/coach's match list.
It would be great to see which games were tournament games.
Also the race of the teams.
Tournaments Page:
It would be cool to get quick match info when mousing over the "D" icon. This would save having to click into the match page and click back.
