One of my Ogres blocked another Ogre in this match and he got Double skulls: the thing is, why did he used "Mighty Blow" on himself?
or is it so that the opponent uses his skills when you get a skull on the roll?

It was the other Ogre. Whenever you knock over an opponent (whether in your own turn or in his), you can use all applicable damage-increasing skills (not sure about Piling On, though).

No, you can't use PO. PO requires you to follow up a block, and if you're the one being hit, you're not following up, but standing in the same square. Thus, PO only is an offensive skill.

If your opponent has claw and RSC and you roll a skull, he uses claw and RSC on you, but you cannot use your own Skills against yourself.

(That's the same thing why the opponent gets the 2 SPP when you injure yourself on a skull)

I think a lot of people fail to understand how the Block works, and that's why they don't understand.

1. A player Blocks the other.
2. He beats the opponent down.

or

1. A player Blocks the other.
2. He get's knocked down by the opponent.

Blocking is sort of a fistfight, and if you roll doubleskulls, the opponent get's the better of you, so you can't use skills on yourself because you are not the one hitting yourself, and since the opponent is the one knocking you down, HE can use skills on you.

Skulls = He got you.

Edit:/ I swear Feuerschwarm's post wasn't there when I wrote mine... strange...
