Hey guys, we stumbled over an interesting rulesquestion which is not dealt with in crp: two teams with equal tv are playing: if even possible, who decides about pettycash first. Lets say by a dieroll. Winner decides not to invest from pettycash, loser does so and buys morg. Is the other player then allowed to take inducements by receiving the free money? Thanks |

Petty cash add to your TV. So, if you add 200k to petty cash, you'll have 200k inducement and your TV will be 200k more for the matter of calculating opponent inducements. So if your TV is THE SAME of your opponent, he get 200k inducement. If your TV was 50k less, your opponent will get 150k inducement. If your TV was 100k more, your opponent will get 300k inducement, and so on
It's clearly written in the rules, you cannot be wrong with that. |

Check out page 28 of the crp rules. It is spelled out there in the pre-match sequence.
1) roll weather
2) transfer Gold from treasury to Petty cash. This is where the 2nd team decides to transfer 430k from treasury to Petty cash. Note, they aren't hiring Morg at this point.
3) Inducements. This is where the 2nd team hires Morg. Since Petty Cash adds to Team TV, the 1st team from above also has 430k to spend on Inducements as well (since their Team TV started out as equal). Note that since the 2nd team is now the 'superior' opponent, he has to purchase his inducements 1st...which means that technically, the 1st team could see that team 2 Hired Morg, and then use his 430k to hire Morg as well...thus insuring that Morg does not actually play. |

Quote: | The team with the highest team value must declare how much gold he is transferring into petty cash first. |
I can do the math
this is what puzzles me here
But I have to admit Xeterogs point made it clear, with all the sequences.
NAF told me on facebook, that both players write down pettycash simultaniously and secretly... then its calculated |

Talking about that...
2 teams: A (1500TV) and B (1490TV). A is supposed to chose first. They decide not to transfer any money. B transfers 150TV. Does the client ask A again if he wants to transfer money? |
