Just wondering are there any plans to implement LRB 4.0 in JBB? I'm sure any information on future plans to do this would be appreciated by the Fumbbl community.

Well, the RR was implemented about 3 weeks after it was released so I'm not sure what you mean.

Perhaps I'm talking about the wrong thing. I was refering to the new skill set that doesnt include RSC and has wrestle and grab. Also the overhaul of the injury system where niggles arent so horrible and such. I was just wondering if these new rules were going to be added/changed in JBB.

Ahh, those are the vault playtesting rules. As far as I know there are no plans of implemetning them until they get official, and that is not gonna happen for some time.

edit: btw, that is NOT LRB 4, the LRB 4 will just be the LRB3+Rules Review 2004.

Here's a draft

Well, if you only play on fumbbl, ok. But if you play real blood bowl you should definately try them out.

First you need to find them which is surprisingly tough...

Thanx for the responses guys. Personally I hope these rules become official soon so we can start using them around here. Especially the one that says NO AGING!

Well, for starters there are several unfixed bugs in the client.
Secondly, on here bb is just a game, 'real' bloodbowl is a hobby, ie more geekish and lots of more fun and you actually can talk to your opponent face to face, taunt him, feel sorry for him, take him on a date or whatever.
Rolling dice yourself hugely beats clicking on them on a screen. Ohh the thrill!

Also you can make your houserules whatever you like and for example try out the vault rules.

Don't get me wrong though, javabowl is fun too and better in some areas, it's easier to find opponents and you can play a lot more games but in the end, it's not real bloodbowl.
