I have found that I regret my mino somewhat. Or well not really, he is cool and kills a lot of things (he got block before the rules review). But the best use for a big guy, especially without block, is to be a big fat lump of flesh that stands with guard in the centre of the heap. Sure you will lose your tackle zone on your ogre 2-3 tiomes per match but that's better than having to waste the blitz or leave your WA standing five squares away from the scrum. Ogre all the way. Really stupid DOES matter. |

All is about personal preference. As for me, I love minotaurs.
But they have av8, and they do their best with blitz, wasting it for your beastmen, who have horns (or vice versa). I'd go for the Ogre. |

I don't like AV8 on a bigguy, and i don't like WA. A good coach will avoid to place people next to the mino, and i usually don't wanna blitz with my mino.
Hence i'd take an ogre or a troll.
Ogre is more reliable, troll has regenerate. |
