The Frost Drakes had their work cut out for them when the scorching heat sidelined 4! Of their players during the second half, leaving six Norse to defend against 10 Of their underworld counterparts.

Having scored on the opponents drive, the Frost Drakes did all they could to deny the enemy the ball, hurling themselves at skaven and goblin alike with surprising vigour.

By the end of the half, only 3 Norse remained on the pitch, though they had removed 4 of their counterparts, and ultimately denied the other team a tie despite the elements conspiring against them.

A sour note in this victory is the death of wyrm, slain early in the 1st half by a mighty troll! The frost drakes killed a goblin in their fury, an offering in wyrm's honour. His time on the team was short, but he died a glorious death on the pitch. We know that we will see wyrm in Valhalla.

Just in time for the new season, the Maulers have announced a rebranding, with the stadium being repainted, the bleachers reinforced, and the skaven infestation in the basement cleaned out. As part of this initiative, shortly before their opening match the Maulers have unveiled their new logo.

Silent_Hastati, with your shiny new logo; when are you gobbos going to get ground into green paste? Have you scheduled the game against the chaos?

Ok, this is getting silly. That damn skeleton now has four mvps out of my five matches. I'm thinking of firing him just on principle.

A death and a MA loss on an already slow player. And they were all caused by my own zoggin bomber. Sigh.

That said this may be Smasher's last season depending on how things go. If he picks up one more long term injury, not even the fun factor of having "That troll that killed, caused a BH, and scored a td in one match" can save him. Really the only reason I'm even Leary is that trolls can take ages to even get that first skill, and as goblins I need all the Guard I can get.

Would be a far easier decision in open MM, but that's the beauty of league play isn't it.

And another glorious death on the pitch! May Naga drink and be merry in Valhalla!

The Frost Drakes pulled off another stunning 2-1 victory against the fan favourites - Webbard's "Enter the Goons", retaining their undefeated streak that now extends a full 6 games.

A match between the Maulers and Lords has seen 2 elfs pronounced dead, another crippled (Although if the apothecary had his way we predict it would have been three dead), and an astonishing last second TD at the end of the first half. Surely this will live on to be remembered as one of the Maulers most famous games. Unfortunately, even with that they were unable to stand up to the Elves, and suffered a 1-2 defeat.

After the match, Sawtoof, the chainsaw operator responsible for one of the deaths and the niggling injury was stopped by our sideline reporters for a comment. "Well yesee, wez wuz gonna zog the lot of em, but da boss didn't have enuff in money for da refz, so me and ol' Faithful ere had ta take a seat early. Also Internet Kraken is a runt!"

Surely his comment can only mean one thing, the Reddit Redux's premier fouler is about to see his record smashed by the goblins this season. Woe to all.

Back to you Jim.

After a disappointing tie against the Nosferatoo, the Frost Drakes returned to form with a dominant 1-0 win against turn 1 concede, leaving them 1st seed in their division with a 3/1/0 record at the half way point of the season. Can the Frost Drakes hold their position til season's end?

Last game was pretty average on the score for the Sneaky Tunnelers vs Nosferatoo but the crowd was pleased with the uncanny violence. Well having a tie is actually improvement for the Sneaky...

The match had 7 casualties, 3 badly hurt, 1 MNG, 1 -1MA and 2 dead. Mostly on the Nosferatoo side... We suspect Bliztx from the Sneaky Tunnelers to have used some kind of stake weapon having managed to kill a vampire!

So, the season is finally over, the results have been tallied, and the finalists have been chosen, and with that, it's time to look at our competitors for the FUMBBL Reddit Cup III. This will also be the last season using the Divisional Playoff format, as the votes have been tallied, and the Inverse Seeding method has won 6:3:1 against divisional and random seeding respectively.

Before we begin, the Reddit Shield, awarded to the team with the highest overall record (P/G*100), goes to the Reddit Rotters with a score of 222. Congratulations, and good luck in the finals!

Match 1: Periwinkle Division

Reddit Rotters (Nurgle)

One of the original teams who have been with us since season 1, the Rotters are making their third trip to the cup, and will be looking not to fizzle out in the playoffs like they have in years past. With a heavy reliance on their Warriors, and their star player Humphrey the Pestigor, the Rotters come into this match as slight favorites, especially with their dirty player linemen. To add to this, their record this season was an impressive 6-2-0.

Dunkelwald Initiates (Dark Elves)

The Initiates do not have as much of a history as the Rotters, having joined us in season 2, but they have made much the same impact this year, securing a 6-1-2 record, and as befits the Dark Elves, a similar casulty infliction record to their nurglite competitors. Coming into the match with a 330tv gap, the question for this match will be what inducements they will be taking to disrupt the Rotters plans, or if they will be adding a larger reserve roster. The player to watch for the Initiates is the Witch Elf Sirena Maleficum, a terror of a woman who averages a casualty every 4 games, with countless more from surfing presumably.

Match 2: OrangeRed Division

Vermin of Glory (Skaven)

The Vermin proved to be the surprise hit of the season, coming in with no prior league experience, and clinching the top position in OrangeRed. However, down on players due to injuries, they may find the finals too much to handle. That said, one should never discount the Skaven's ability to score, and they may yet pull it off. With a record of 5-0-2, they have more then proven their ability to play with men, err rats, down.

Freak Accidents Happen (Undead)

Another new team this year, the Freaks are coming in with the slight TV advantage over the Vermin, and a pair of +AG ghouls giving them the sort of threat reserved for more agile teams. The regeneration of the Undead is something the Vermin will need to keep in the back of their mind if they wish to come out ontop. Their record being 4-1-2 is slightly less impressive than their opponent's but their team has made it somewhat more intact, barring the loss of one of their Mummies.

Match 3: ShadowBan Division

Frost Drakes (Norse)

The Drakes, yet another newcomer to the league, are admittadly a bit of an unbalanced team, with most of their SPPs sucked into a few players. With their runner Ryujin, having 55 spps after only 11 career games, he is both the biggest threat, and biggest target in their playoff matches. However, one must not discount their Berserkers or Ulferners, who can hold their own as well. Their season record sits at a 4-2-1, very similar to their opponents, and the tv value is only a 50tv difference.

Who Are These People (Humans)

Humans! The jack of all trades race has secured a spot in this years playoffs, and got there in style. Their Ogre, George Costanza, had declared this the Summer of George by winning the award for highest casulties. A well balanced team, the People have the ability to become a threat from all parts of the pitch, but besides George, special mention must be made to Uncle Leo and J. Petermen, linemen who respectively have +AG and +ST. A seasonal record of 4-1-2 doesn't set them too far apart from their first opponent, which should be an interesting match.

Match 4: Wildcard!

Kurgan Blood Tide (Chaos)

Thanks to the divisional imbalance, the winners of Season 1's Cup are back with a vengeance. This season continues the tradition of the Tide making it to the playoffs every year, and they will of course be seeking to have a repeat of season 1. The Blood Tide would have made it into the main playoff bracket had they not lost the TD Difference tiebrekaer with the Freaks, and as such are a particular threat. The Blood Tide weigh in at an impressive 1810tv, but unlike most of their high tv chaos bretherin, have not elected to take Claw on a single player. Even without that though, they are a terrifying foe to race. Their record was a 4-1-2 as well.

Alfie Evans and The Boys (Elves)

A rock band turned professional blood bowl team, the Boys have the unenviable task of facing the Blood Tide in the first leg of the playoffs with a staggering 450tv difference. But with that difference comes options, options which an elf team can easily take full advantage of. With a team full of dodging players who don't care about nearby players when moving the ball around, the Boys may be able to dance around their Chaos opponents. A record of 3-3-1 marks their season thus far.
