Northern Nippon. The Oni is broken.
Not sure if that's Nippon or Nipponese though... |

Its really not, its just a st5 wild animal player. pretty easy to deal with imo.
The rest of the team are pretty average too. |

Your forgetting the claw, horns, frenzy and juggernaut. On a typical big guy that's 3 doubles and a skill. |

Not forgetting at all. Same skills as a mino, only claw is worse than mighty blow as a starter skill. Both can be claw mb after one skill. The only difference there is juggernaut, which makes him more reliable than a mino. To say he is op is frankly nonsense, as I said he is just a st5 wild animal big guy which are pretty easy to deal with. Also he is expensive as hell.

Very true. Nippon are one of the best teams, much better than northern nippon.
All the hatred around Oni displays is pixel hugging really. People do not like things that cause damage. People have said Daemons of Khorne are OP as well for the same reason - a big guy that for the first time ever is actually reasonably good at causing cas. Even though they have 658 games played with a win percentage of around 41%. Its again just because coaches don't like their players getting injured. But neither of these teams are particularly strong. Northern Nippon is a standard tier 1 bash team, DoK are low end tier 2. |

I've read your justification for the Oni in the team text. I think a player starting with a 'double' roll (includes norse jump up players) should be more expensive and more skills generally get exponentially better as the team advances (except well seasons and TV). Its why Slann bltizers are so good later on (ignoring tv).
and yes I get we're talking about a single player in a team and not the whole team - but 1 player can be overpowered and not break a team. |

What double roll are you referring to?
He is a 170k Minotaur, that is a huge price. He really doesn't need to be more expensive.
Try playing with him, honestly. I get you might have had 1 bad dicey game, but you are way off. Saying he is OP is just nonsense, sorry. He is st5, so pretty easy to knock over. Like all wild animals if you knock him down he is often out of the drive, you can mark him to draw him away from the action. Lots of options really. Claw is also a worse starter skill than MB. Does he get exponentially better? Only if he gets doubles, but That's true of any big guy really. They need block.
The team is big guy centric, its the whole point of the team. There are no teams like that in the game currently. The advice I always give to people when they make such claims is try playing with them, and you will soon learn their weakness.
edit: in fact you only played against them once - https://fumbbl.com/p/match?id=3824938 and you drew. which was one of your teams best results. So I am not sure what you are basing this on really. |
