There were no Majors for a while after converting to 2020.
Many old coaches have gone. Many new coaches didn't know what Majors were. |
Makes sense. Seeing a basically rookie Ogre squad as a finalist in a major is a big regression from the old 2200-3300 TV squads that used to dominate. |

Some might see so many piddling little teams being in a Major as a regression.  |
I do - if the meta is to bring a rookie team into a major that's sort of counterintuitive to the idea of a season and developing a team IMO. I'm not saying that a 300 game, 3000 TV team should be the most dominant but a rookie team should have nigh chance when going against seasoned teams. No offense to Grue either - he is a helluva good coach. |

Major Champions list updated with tussock's wonderful Khemri win. I've also added a special section for Steel Gauntlet. I believe it has Major status but with 3 or 4 tournaments per year it doesn't really fit in the "by Year" format. |
