i have an old world team, and some of the player icons come up as just a big L in a circle: what can i do to make them look like real icons?

Scroll down to the last news story on the page.

It won't make the regular icons work, but at least you'll get the appropriate background colors and the right letter. It's not perfect but I think it's an improvement.
