I think some people use GIMP.
I tend to leave this stuff to the pro's out there, as I draw the way I play......crap! |

Microsoft Photo Editor is probably decent enough to begin with. GIMP is a free heavy duty editor and that's the one I like to use. |

Photoshop is rather nice ... but also rather expensive. I'd probably use it if i could afford to own it
Instead, i've been using psp for quite a while - you still have to pay for it, but it's not quite so expensive. |

The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) rocks, has an easy windows installer and online tutes. Think of it as photoshop without the price tag. |

I use Paint and Photo Editor to modify player icons, whatever I have more on hand.
..and then pry for it to work. Crose your fingers and all. |

1. You need to install the GTK+ library first, also downloadable from gimp.org
2. start->run->calc
I opened this expecting to say "EditPlus 2", but well.. I guess "Gimp" is more appropriate. |

Hehe i was messing around with this quite a while back and now one of my elf blitzers has a pink background when standing still ....its actually quite useful as it helps identify him....(although at the moment its moot as every time i buy a new blitzer it dies horribly horribly....) |

I used to use photo editor b4 I saved enough for photoshop.
But beware, like photoshop it's quite advanced. |
Taking into account this guy is a photographer, I believe what he says.
Personally, I used GIMP, and the Photoshop (when we got it). |
