Holy moly.

I just played a game against a coach with a slightly higher TR 141 Humans vs my 135 Skaven and a slightly better CR 147.41 vs my 141.51.

I won 3 - 1, and my CR jumped to 142.91! Jesus that's like 1.5 points for a single game. No wonder all those coaches with CR's of 170+ that I challenge wont play me!!! Razz

The TR difference was just 6, but the TS difference was 12 (133 vs 145) - and TS is what the CR formula looks at.

It's not worth it mate. The amount of moaning about luck you have to listen to if beat one of em.

oh ...maybe i should add... having a 50% win ratio and cr below 150 is pretty likley... the cr is more affected by the games you played lately... so if you won at the start a lot of games but lost all of your games in the last month your cr will go down faster...
thats actually a better indicator for your coaching skills then win % because looking at win % would work with the illusion that the coach never improves his skills and is always as good as at the point when he started playing...

Anyway, have you signed up for White Isle yet?

That's much more important than CR!

Yeah - it is! My current silly CR puts me 35th on the list, which is pretty laughable. I could probably list 100 or more coaches lower ranked than me, that I consider to be better coaches. Hence CR doesn't mean anything! Very Happy

Yeah - I don't think win % means too much either. Coaches could have sucked to start with, could have played loads of 4V4 or something equally statistic skewing.. The only way to really find out if a coach is any good is to play him and make your own mind up. Numbers don't mean a great deal.
