I ran this last year and people seemed to enjoy it, so I thought I'd do it again. Rather than re-type it all, here's last years post and rules:

The rules will be simple. In this thread people are free to make Nominations for their FOTY along with a reason. Once a nomination is seconded they will be added to the list of nominees. These will them be turned into a Poll where people can vote for their FOTY! This isn't based entirely on FUMBBL achievements, but they can be considered. It for contributing to the community as a whole. Someone who runs leagues, contributes to meta groups, helps people by creating logos, or updates wikis and guides. Anything that constitutes a good FUMBBLer. Two basic rules:
1) This is a thread of celebration. No negativity is allowed!
2) Nominees cannot be FUMBBL Staff members, for obvious reasons. Otherwise Christer and Kalimar would win hands down  |
I'm a bit later this year. I'll allow the nominations to run until after Christmas, and then the poll to run until the new year.

I agree with akaRenton and his images and Noob Welcome, but I'd like to vote for Sonrises, for his great work on the Top25 Stats and for the organisation of the All Stars Tournament series. Good Job! |

I will second Pain State. He is a great personality for FUMBBL, involves himself in a lot of different conversations, plays the game a lot differently than everyone while appearing to have a good time doing it, runs a pretty cool league.....and he is American.
His only fault may be his political conversations.  |

Despite playing only in the first tournament, I nominate Purplegoo/sann0638 for the Online NAF on FUMBBL. The best thing that happened this year not only for FUMBBL, but for the whole BB community.
And yes, I'm the same person that went nut a couple of days with sann0638 for the BB Survey thing...  |
