Well the draw's been made so thought I'd do a Purplegoo still pick of our chances (so hopelessly wrong in all likelyhood).

Despite what Russo thinks I don't have time to do links for all the teams, so you'll just have to look the teams up yourselves

Blood Red Dragons, Borgen against egomaniac's Moe Green Specials
The Orcs have no tackle, no cash and 2 nigglers and Borgens Dark Elves are still a decent team. Borgen wins

Jerusalem, Britnoth against beads33's scott's highland band
Britnoth has a much better team and some really nice stat increases, the norse lack the speed or agility to outrun the chaos and only have 1 MB so I can see the chaos laying some real hurt vs AV7. Britnoth wins

VFK Legionas, CopyCat against Reisender's Rata Blanca
The skaven have a nice Gutter and a ST5 thrower but both lack block. There's not too much power in the skaven team and copycat has a nice spread of skills across his team. Both teams have spare cash for stars or wizards which could change things. Copycat Wins

I Expect You To Die!, Cribbleobblepie against Blackwidow's Flipiviflopi!!!
Crib has 2 very nasty chaos warriors, including the ST6 Odd Job, he lacks much guard and has no great ball handlers so things could be tough vs a Khemri team that will probably have Ramtut. The Khemri have no DP and the skeletons are very weak, so taking them out and a few good gang fouls on the mummies should see crib through. Crib wins

Walmington On Sea BBC, Cyrus-Havoc against Blizzix's Unholy Flesh
Cyrus has a very tough game, the Necromantics are far better developed and have the cash for either Ramtut or The Count and Cyrus has no DP and are really outclassed in ST. Cyrus-Havoc loses

Kung Pow!, Gritter against grandw's Big Mekx
The Chaos lack guard and damaging skills like DP and MB, so I think they will struggle against Gritter's solid front line. Grit also has loads of spare cash, but I think he can win without it. He's really good with Chaos Dwarfs too so I'd put an outside bet on Grit to be the WIl'er to have the best run. Gritter wins

World's Edge Deathrollers, Mirascael against WarriorTsuke's Go Baby Lions
The Chaos have a lot of Claw and guard as well as over 50TS on the Dwarfs and plenty more cash. Mira has the money for a star, but his team will really struggle in the front line against the chaos team's higher ST players and greater number of guards. The chaos have plenty of cash and if they hire a wiz or star then they will have a massive advantage. The dwarfs armour and thick skull could see them through in a battle of attrition, but the claws will counter this. Mira loses

Black Eyes Galore, Morgal against MowieRad's Death Reinvented
The Orcs lack 3 key players for this game and are up against a much better developed necros team with 220K in the bank. Morgal needs to spend his cash to have a chance, but the 2 ST5 Black Orcs should help, a lack of DP versus quite a few fouling zombies will mean it could be a painful game for the Orcs. I've played MowieRad a few times and he likes to take risks so that could open up some chances, he's a good laugh, so even if you get slaughtered it should be a fun game. Morgal loses

Souless Slayers, Mr_Prezident against Miyuso's Fruit Salad
Orcs are always tough for Undead, but Mr_Prez has plenty of cash for the count or some more ghouls and the Orcs have none so no wiz to face. The Orcs have little guard or MB and no DP. But the undead only have 1 developed mummy and only 2 ghouls, 1 with no skills. Still the higher FF means that the undead should come off better in all the Kick Off Rolls and Mr_Prezident is a good player. Mr_Prez wins

Well that's 9 of 27 WIL coaches in the FC, a special mention and apology to Ludo who I missed from my initial list on oage 5 of this thread, an OT loss to a higher ST Wood Elf team and good coach is nothing to be ashamed of.
I'll try and give my other picks later today but if anyone else wants to put theirs up please do so.

Ludo certainly kicked us off in style last night - fine performance that far down in TS. Look forward to the rest of the picks.

Sad Oops, missed Astarael off my list too. Hope Russo's stupidity is not catching. Never mind Ast I'll give the Famites a game with one of my elven teams that needs to play Khemri sometime.

So that's 28 WIL coaches who made it into the FC, but please post if I've missed anyone else out!

Astarael, Return of the Famites against Brunzum's A FistFul of Dices
Ast only has 12 players, no cash and only 2 mummies have block whilst the Chaos dwarfs have 14 players and Hthark the Unstoppable. Ast has got some nice skellies but I think their AV7 will let them done versus the MB of the blockers. If Ast can take out the 3 Bulls then he has a chance but I've got to say that the higher AV of the Blockers should see them through. Ast loses, but does some damage

Ultimate Superheroes!, PeteW against Azure's Anika's Elven Fighters
The defending champ faces another Wood Elf team in his 1st match. Pete has a lot of skills on his team, a nice amount of cash in the bank and a potentially game winning, but very fragile wardancer. He's facing a Wood Elf team with a nice selection of stats but these are mostly on linos. Pete's 2 DPs could make all the difference and he can be pretty brutal. Elfball games can all come down to luck though, so badly timed snaked or double skulls could decide it. PeteW wins, well he is a lucky git

A Little Gaulish Village, phil78 against dieter_h.'s Orkoholics
Phil has a nice team, shame about the 2 niggles and unlike some elven teams in the FC he does play against bashers. He has the cash for a wiz or a star but faces an Orc team with a massive bank and 5 ST increases, 2 on the same player. The ST4 MB tackler could do some damage and Phil will have to watch out for the ST5 frenzied player too. I think this will be close and will depend on keeping some elfs on the pitch. If the Orcs save and Phil spends then he has a chance. Phil loses

Borg Collective, PhrollikK against Mossbeard's Rivertown Rogues
This is the hardest match to call so far. Phroll has a decent undead team but with no cash, the key player is the AG5 ghoul, if he doesn't show then I feel the undead will really suffer as the humans can afford a wiz. He'll have to keep the ghouls safe from the 2 MB tackle blizters. The mummies and block zombies should see him winning the LOS battle so it'll come down to the sideline duel between the ghouls and wights versus the blitzers and catcher. Phroll loses, in OT maybe

pixel stompers, PigStar-69 against Meech's Forum Suckers
A very nice Orc team with plenty of cash an AG5 blitzer and 2 ST5 black Orc Blockers faces a vampire team with some pretty ordinary thralls but with a beast of a vamp in The Shadow Knows, the other vamp has 3 doubles but neither block nor dodge. The vamps don't have the cash for a vamp lord, only 2 vamps and 6 re-rolls should mean they are pretty reliable but they don't have much to hurt the Orcs or the speed to avoid them. PigStar-69 is also a very good coach. PigStar-69 wins

Cherry-stone, Popcorn against kumiduck's Praetorian Rukain
Another well developed Orc team with a large bank balance, this time they face off against another Orc team. Popcorn's team has more bashing skills and Praetorian Rukain's lack of MB and DP will see them struggle to hurt the AV9. But equally Popcorn has little of either though he has more money to burn. Mirror matches are hard to call so it'll probably come down to armour rolls. Popcorn wins

A Plan Comes Together, Purplegoo against Yo's Yo rc II
Another tough call, purp's got a nice team with a good range of skills across the board. The Orcs only have MB on the Troll and Yo doesn't foul whilst purp has 5 MB and 3 DP's so we'll see if DP really is as broken as people say. Both players have cash for 1 star or wiz, and if ones hires and the other doesn't that will push the game in their favour. Yo is a very good coach and the team has a 5/2/0 record vs Orcs. If purp can take out some key players such as the blitzers then I can see him wearing the Orcs down, however if the Orcs can get at the squishy hobgoblins then they can outmanouver the slower and less agile dwarfs, injury rolls on fouls will be key.Purp wins, but very close

Erhnamgeddon, Rijssiej against invencible's Invencibles
Yet another close match up, both teams are very even in TR/TS and have the cash for a wiz, though rijs could hire a cheap star too. Rijs has 3 tackles (2 with MB) versus 6 blodgers and rijs has 3 DP's against none. The DE have 15 players, but 3 of them are unskilled linos so the Orcs will struggle to wear them down, however the DE lack players to break into the Orc cage and Rijs has a very good record with them. However 1 mistake or bad roll could spell disaster as the Orcs don't have any good ball handlers with the -AG thrower. Rijs wins, though I think this may be my WIL and FCUK bias Very Happy

Green Fender Benders, Russo against Arkeo's Gothenburg Gore
WIL's least competant coach only has 13 players for this game, a couple of AG4 players give the option of a passing game if the undead start doing some damage, and the 50K in the bank would be well spent on a wizard, the troll missing is a real kick in the teeth for the Orcs as he'd have been a great speedbump. The count and 2 nice mummies will make life hard for the Orcs, both teams lack block across the board so will need to remember that a blockless player has a 1 in 9 chance of turning over on a 2D. I think the count will make the difference in this game the orcs only have 1 tackle and Russo is giving away handis too. Russo loses

That's part 2 done, just 9 more teams to rate including myself. I'll try and get them done before any more matches are played. Post times here so we can cheer you all on and make fun of my ill informed opinions Very Happy

Sorry for the double post but wanted to keep it easier to read and I can always go back and edit it to include actual results and 2nd round match ups.

Deadwood Cowboys, SeraphimRed against G_Force's Unbroken Bones
Both teams have cash for stars so i expect the count to face off vs Ramtut, and both teams lack developed zombies/skellies with most of the skills on the positionals. Sera has a very nice AG and ST4 ghouls who will combine well with the count to open up some passing opportunities that should keep the khemri on their toes. The undead have the only DP in this match so a good foul on the mummies or better yet ramtut could make the difference. I think the undead's higher armour should allow the zombies to weather the mummy storm better than the skellies and the greater speed and agility of 4 ghouls and 2 wights versus 2 blitz ras gives sera the edge. Sera wins

Feeble Cherryboys [FCUK], spubbbba against skavenboy's Skavenblight Rejects
Well not sure if it's the done thins to predict my own result but what the heck. My team really needed a few more games to be truly competitive, block on all the ghouls and zombies, guard on the 2nd mummy and a 3rd DP would've been nice. My team has only 1 stat increase and a couple of doubles, a blodge mummy will be hard to take take but my best ghoul is missing this game. I'm facing a skaven team with 5 niggles and a some -AV. They have some bashing but no DP, though their speed and 5 AG4 players will mean if I drop the ball on offence I'm in serious trouble. I get 2 handis so these could be vital, virus and morelys would be a dream combo. I've got the cash so The Count will be playing and I hope he can keep the ball safe and use his gaze to good effect. Up against a 1 turner and another gutter who needs 1 push will mean the game is never decided till the final whistle. Spub wins, may well live to regret saying that though

Dwarformers, Tesifonte against Tyridium's Arrancaojoz
With as much blodge as many elf teams at this range Tesi's Dwarfs will be hard to take down let alone hurt. An MA8 runner will make a 2 turn TD very viable and even a 1 turn possible with the 2 slayers and some luck. As always there is a plentiful supply of MB and guard as well a a couple of DP's. The Orcs only have 13 players, 1 a goblin and are pretty low on skills, they have no DP, only 1 tackle and 2 unskilled BO's. There is a very nice ST5 Blitzer who could cause problems. Neither team has enough cash to do anything, the Orcs only hope is getting some good handis and hoping their higher FF can affect the kick off results. tesi wins

Standing to be counted, ultwe against ClayInfinity's Prince Albert All-Stars
The WIL's maybe the FC's biggest underdog, Ultwe's fearless halflings specialise in taking on dwarfs and chaos dwarfs. Over 60TS down the flings have splurged their cash on deeproot and 3 extra ingredients. 3 trees, 2 of them ST7 and 3 DPs means the flings aren't the soft target they may appear. However the 3 AV5 players won't last long vs the Rotters. The rotters have 4 niggles and only 2 tackles, but a claw, a MB and the beasts tentacles could cause havoc on the flings. No DP means that any prone rotters will be asking to get gangfouled. The Rotters still have 70K so could bring Ripper or another beastman. As ultwe willl be getting 2 handis these could make the difference, virus, morelys or bribe the ref could all be devastating as could failed niggles rolls. I like the flings chances of pulling off a shock upset, the lack of apoth and some good early fouls couldswing it for the flings, whilst some bad take root rolls could spell disaster, finally there's always the chance of a TTM. Ultwe wins, sorry WIL bias again flings in the 2nd round would be too cool.

Blasphemers, Unstoffe against palandt's Another first try
Some nice beastmen and a cool Blodge Ogre on the chaos side, they have cash for a star or 2 or a star and a wiz, with only 3 re-rolls Borak would be useful. The chaos warriors are a bit weak with only 1 having block. Only 1 tackle will mean taking out ghouls and the blodge wolf will be a pain, the chaos have the numbers to survive a war of attrition and a single DP to foul back against the necro's 2. neutralising the greater speed of the 2 wolves, 2 ghouls and MA7 ST4 wight will be key. The necros also have cash for a star and either of them would be a real pain to deal with. Chaos are giving away a handicap too. I think if Unstoffe spends all his cash he'll win, if he spends some and save the rest it'll be close but will still sneak it. Both teams only having 3 re-rolls will mean it'll be vital to minimise risks and with a few blockless players being on the picth turnovers are likely. Unstoffe wins

Doomed Elves, Woodstock against teribliblanc's FEAR Mouse FEAR
Well once again he was too fast for me and has already played and won, congrats on getting being the 1st WIL coach to get into the 2nd round. I'll check out your opponents later and give my predictions as soon as I know, though knowing you the game will be over by the time I finish my post. Rolling Eyes woodstock won!

Cursed Pyramid XI, Wotfudboy against Liara's Lisbon Lions And Best Players
9 of the khemri have block including all the mummies and an AG3 sure hands blitz ra gives the team someone who can actually pick the ball up. Only 1 DP means they'll have to choose the fouls carefully, only 2 tackles is a pain but at least 1 of them has MB. The DE have block almost across the board and plenty of blodge too, they only have 12 players fir this game, 2 of them nigglers so if the Khemri can get some good hits in they can quickly wear the DE down. The DE also have an amazing AG5 thrower who can longbomb on a 2+ meaning he can hang back and allow the faster players to spread out the lumbering khemri. Wotfud gets 3 handis so these could play an important roll, the DE losing Carmen would make their lives harder, but I think the Khemris poor ball handling will let them down in the end, I can't see them doing enough damage to stop the DE. Wotfud loses

DBZ Tenkaichi, Xenon against Macavity's Blue Bombers
Xenon has some nice blockers and bulls but his hobgoblins are pretty weak, luckily the AG3 bull makes a good ball handler and will be hard to take down. A reasonable amout of guard and MB should see them getting the upper hand in the LOS battle. Macavity has some nice stats and doubles on his team, but the Ogre is missing and he has 2 niggles. The humans don't have the MB or guard to take on the blockers but can go for the softer hobgoblins, 4 AG4 players and some speedy catchers should be able to run rings round the blockers and troll and 2 ST players are a danger to the bulls. Xenon has 2 DP's to mac's 1, but the human lineman is a bit useful to risk getting seft off on a foul. Xen gets 2 handis as well which could make the difference. I think mac has the better team but Xen is the better coach, I'm hoping that Fumbbl's favourite spammer will be out of practice and distracted thoughts of fatherhood to play his best. xen wins

Scarred Lands Slitheren, zombificus against theg's Le Figaro Smart Sets
Zombi has 5 AG increases including 2 AG5 players, but is sorely lacking in damaging skills. Only 6 players have block and only 2 tackle, with no DP and the only MB on the RO. The WE's have little in the way of stats, barring a very nice AG6 catcher who is an intercepting machine. The block multiblock treeman could mash the low armour of the skaven too. A generous helping of blodge across the board means that the skaven will struggle to beat up the elves and this is a team that can match them for speed and beat them at agility too. Even getting 2 handis I don't think that'll be enough to overcome the difference in team class, theg is a good coach too so can use his team well. The MA10 gutter does give the chance of a 1 turner though without too much luck, could be a high scoring game. zombi loses

Grats on the win Cyrus, I'm very glad to have been proved wrong.

Was a hell of an awesome play on turn 23, 3+ dodge, 4+ sure hands pick up, 3+ dodge, 2+ GFI, 2+ quick pass, 4+ catch, 3+ dodge and then 2 GFI's. All without using a team re-roll, but that's what makes Bloodbowl great.

I really thought it was lost after those double surfs.

185.98 CR is nice as well, 33 is an impressive gain.

I've done a wiki page for us to help chart our progress WIL coaches in Fumbbl Cup V

I'll update it after every match but please fill it in if I miss anything.

Spubbbba, you better add that Astarael lost last night. It was tough to watch him lose 1-0. He was kinda destroyed. That is why i only joined your game halfway through. Your opponent was not coping with us lot in the second half
