Well tonight will see another WIL'er in action.

My game vs Skeletor will be taking place at 21:00 BB time tonight. I have a cunning plan to defeat the evil Orcs.

1. Get good handicaps (Virus, Morleys, I am the Greatest and It wasn't me would help)
2. Don't make any stupid mistakes (probably the hardest part of the plan)
3. Get really, really lucky. Very Happy

If I can pull off all 3 then I give myself a 25% chance

Disco Borak was a bit rubbish (spent the whole first half KO'ed), my Mino was even worse (KO'ed T1 and never came back) but....

WE WON!

...thanks to those who watched, seems we were the neutrals boo targets, but I heard support throughout, thanks whoever was there!

Lost a Chaos Warrior on an Apo fail foul, and a guard DP beastman got -ST, but have enough money for Borak again next round. May freeboot, depends on who we get.

Grats Crib, I watched the 1st half. Thought you were in trouble with that apoth fail but you came back with a vengeance and the zons started to drop like flies. The zara surf was wonderful.

You may ask why I only watched the 1st half, wel that's because.....

I was beating Skeletor's Orcs in the FC. Very Happy Shocked

I couldn't believe it and thought all was lost after star zombie pandapower was BH with no regen, I only lost 1 player, my MA8 blodge ghoul Gres was niggled.
So it's on to round 4 facing former WIL'er DukeTyrion's Orcs.

Just goes to show you can never underestimate us Smile
And that game got me the Undead Fanatic award too, which seems fitting.
So 5 of us left in round 4 of the FC, lets see how far we can take it.

Update.

My Undead Feeble Cherryboys [FCUK] will face DukeTyrion's Orc team Skruffneks.

On Monday the 19th November at 20:00 UK Time (21:00 Server time).

I've played Duke and few times before and it's always been a tough and fun game so this should be good, sadly Sad my beating Skeletor's Orcs has stopped people underestimating me and he's spent all his cash rather than saving it, so I'm going to have to hope my deadies and feeling nimble and can dodge explosions and fireballs.

But the count 2, mummies and 2 DP's should give me a chance to beat up the greenskins. Very Happy
If I get a chance I'll do some predictions for remaing round 4 games, only 5 of us so it'll be easier.

I'm playing my FC game in an hour. Should I sack the Missing -ST Beastman, or keep him around for his DP and Guard next round (If I win, which I doubt! Check out my opponents Dirty Dirty team!). If he goes I only give away one handicap, if he stays its two? What do you reckon lads?

I'd keep him unless doing so would affect Handis at all, then it's worth considering.

Your Oppo has a Mummy with DT... and perhaps not so conicidenatly, a couple of Injuries. Smile

Take the Mummies out, and he'll struggle to floor anything to DP anyway. \o/

Hmm, tough choice.

With all those DP's he lacks block but you may well need all the players you can get, still a 2nd handicap could decide it, morleys or bribe the ref would hurt.

If you can take out the mummies and the count a lot of the power goes, and you have a fair few DPs yourself.
Also you'll probably be down a few players should you get through this match.

I think if you fire you go from 2 handis --> 1 right?

If so, fire his ass. It's all well and good looking to the future, but it's [R], it's a tournament, and it's a tough old game. Think about today, screw tomorrow.

Positioning will be the key. If he's gonna foul every turn, fine, but let him only get an assist or two with decent lines. Get that right and you win the game. You know that anyways (I know), I'm just saying. Very Happy

Bleh, I played like an arse and was outmanned 90% of the game. Together, that means we sucked!

Hired Borak, and the only handicap was 'It Wasn't Me', on him! Was cruising the first half when he fouled out half a dozen zombies, but decided like a fool to foul back, loosing my numbers advantage and with his regen rolls being spot on (made every one) and my players KO'ing left right and centre, in the end overtime gave him a second TD with the count and a T24 win.
