Got a question about the group phase and forfeiting matches. The site says, that matches will be forfeited to the larger teams, but this teams need to play a certain amount of games. What happens if a team get's no game (maybe Scongeletors Chaos team, e.g.), almost matches will be forfeited to that team, cause it has high ratings but it might be unable to get the required amount of matches (i hope it's clear what i mean ). What will happen to that team? Is it one of this "You are to scary, so it's your fault" situations? |

here in the league we play at my city we give that kind of points and it works very good.
won 15 Points + TD scored more
lost 5 Points - TD scored less (lowest piont are -1 )
tie 10 Points
forfeit
winner get 17 points
forfeiter get 0 pionts
will there a option to challange a team ?
and will the draw made in #fumbbl this night ? |

The Cup has now started but you can't play any matches until all the teams have joined the group and i can then start the open round robin.
Hopefully something can be sorted so I can accept everyone into their group so we aren't left wiating for the stragglers.
You can't use your cup team from now on, until the round robin starts and then you can only play cup matches until the group stage is over. |

Is there any way I can see how the groups are going?
(I'm not participating, but would like to follow some teams through the group stages)
I can't seem to find a link on the group page which would allow me to do so. |

Thanks guys!
Much appreciated.
Wow, looking at those teams (I know i shouldn't do this, but I'm bored).
Of 115 teams (strange that there are 6 more teams in the tournaments than in the group, but hey? - who cares?) I get -
69 Bashy Teams (CDs, Undead, Dwarf, Chaos & Orc)
24 Agility Teams (HE, DE, WE, Skaven &'Zons)
20 Neutral Teams (Norse, Lizardmen, Human)
2 Stunty Teams (Goblins)
0 Halflings (Booooooooooo!!! )
(Note that all numbers may be slightly innacurate - I'm tired too)
I was going to enter my Darkies in the X-Cup but, since that's likely to be even more bash-heavy than this one, perhaps I should reconsider. (Doubt they'd survive long playing 3 of 4 games against that lot ).
On no, my mistake, they've been playing against nothing but bashy teams since joining divX, I'll enter after all!
Hmmm, enough random posting for one day.... |

FUMBBL CUP II demands so much more than the first cup. You must play very many games in the first round. Okey, great some of you will say. And that's fine. But for me it is just too many matches. So I vote for fewer matches next FUMBBL CUP. The best would be to go back to immidiately knock-out tournament. That way it really becomes a cup!
Have now left the tournament for this time.
But hey, you guys who like it the way it is, play and enjoy!
Good Luck to you all. |

I think the same. I hope that next cup will be a knock-out tournament.

more matches means u wont get further in the tourney, just you got extreme lucky in one match...
but maybe a swiss tournament could also be nice. |
