Hi,
since the warpstone open started on a wednesday and is 1 week per round, I can calculate what the deadlines are. However, what happens in case I forget? Is there a note somewhere, which lists the deadline of the current round of the warpstone open?
If not, something like that in a big, red font would be a nice addition to the overview page of the respective major, imho.
Best regards,
Optihut
P.S.: No poll this time around, after the riot my "macavity?" poll caused. |

Not necessarily the most obvious space but you can click calendar on the FUMBBL interface and it has important dates and such. |

the number of rounds are pretty easy to calculate
x are the rounds participants
x =2^y , while y are the rounds to be played
in case you "forgot" it, your game will be forfeited and you will be banned for the next major
i 2nd the big red counter |

You don't need to calcul anything. Just a bit of curiosity.
There is also the calendar.
And no you won't forget, your team is scheduled.
From the Warpstone open page you find that:
FORMAT
The Warpstone Open will be preceded by 16 Qualifying Tournaments. These Qualifying Tournaments will be Weekly Knockout Qualifying Tournaments
More information on the Qualifiers can be found at the Warpstone Open Qualifiers group page. The winner of each of these will gain 1 Fan Factor and be admitted into the prestigious final tournament.
Which lead to that:
LINKS
Warpstone Open
Official Tournament Rules
Weekly KO Qualifying Tournaments
Warpstone Open Qualifier Schedule
Which lead to:
Deadline for qualifiers
* Round 1 Deadline: Wednesday 16th January 2008
* Round 2 Deadline: Wednesday 23rd January 2008

Thanks a lot, Panda_, this is exactly what I was looking for.
For convenience I would have preferred to have that schedule on the initial overview page with the brackets, though. But it's good that the times are listed somewhere, at least. |

Deadlines with the schedule on the overview would be easy to implement I imagine and ideal for groups and tournies.
Nice idea. |

I didn't even mean the individual coach's overview - that would be even better, having it next to the scheduled opponent of the team. Good idea Seraphim! |

Maybe you could go to your overview, hover over the Games link and select Calendar. It lists all the deadlines for all the Majors. As well as listing application start dates & tourney start dates for all official tourneys bar RRR & XFL. Use the Upcoming Events tab. |
