Also some teams, most notably Chaos, are highly competative in the long run, but have problems before they start skilling up.

Next time around you should rather buy 2 more fan factor, instead of buying the cheerleaders. Fans affect more kick off results and influence the gate, which in turn affects monetary winnings.

Look at the strategy guides for suggested starting rosters. Theyre in the help section.

I saw the starting roster variations. And yeah, the cheerleaders should go... I normally like to have a few, but playing online vs with the minis at the table, cheerleaders do very little. With minis there is a FUN FACTOR with them.

There were a lot of suggested starting lineups. I think what I chose is pretty close to a few of them.

Thanks!

Be wary of a few matchups, dwarfs vs a dodge based team usually goes very badly for the dodge team (amazons, goblins, halflings). Apart from that you should be fine, you will develope an awareness of how good a particular team is vs another team.

You can get a real sense of how particular race v race matchups work out at different TS (Team Strength) bands by looking at the race rankings here:

Click on a particular race or a particular TS band to get an idea how successful certain races are v each other - quite often, there's a sort of Rock-Paper-Scissors effect going on.

Thanks.

I've spectated a bit during some games. They move pretty quick! I've played a lot of games at the table. I even ran a league when the boxed set came out in 1997 or so... But its been a while.

Everything looks great. Seems very top notch. And in wandering the forums I've come across NO TROLLING!!!!! Which is a refreshing change....

Yeah that team looks fine save I'd go more FF if you want to use the team long term. Once you get the hang of It I'd recommend finding a league.Have a look around find one you like the theme of and can see yourself being in for a while and dive in! They're great fun and give your team a long term future .

A.B.B.A. looks pretty neat. What is mean by "Fluff Based"?

Each league has its own season of scheduled play?

Fluff based means you develop stories for your teams and players. They can be as detailed as you like (have a look at some) Most leagues are sceduled or open roun robin. In the latter you can play people in any order.
