If you have to restart a game because your opponent chose the wrong team, is there any rule about how the 'rolls' go (restarting if not quite the same) or not?
As a halfling player, it REALLY sucks when the first game you get your treeman, win the toss and ask to receive, and the SECOND game you don't get your treeman, he wins the toss and decides to receive the kick.
besides etiquette (which is questionable), is there anything to help this out? |

From the rules section under Code of Conduct:
If you get disconnected in the middle of a turn, do your best to make it fair. If a play has already been made, try to replicate it as closely as possible. For example, if your opponent scored a touchdown the first time, it's only fair that the team scores after a reload. The same holds for other in-game events.
The last line would account for pregame and Kickoff results too imo, unless an excessive amount of reloads were needed to achieve an awake treeman and a winning coin flip.
Really though, that's only if you want to be a stickler about it. Most of the time coaches consider the coin flip too early to be worth replicating. I do not doubt that some unscrupulous souls have taken advantage of this. |
