Take guard with all your blitzers and all your bobs, agile teams won't be able to break through, and will be tough to dodge at least twice in 1 tacklezone. Bashy teams won't be able to get a hit on you (unless there is a similarly built chaos team).
Beware the team that takes all wrestle, as your movement can't compete with theirs. |

Well, assuming you noticed that vampires are more fun than orcs you didnt
(orcs are fine I guess... vampires are cooler... should see more in tournies... grumble)
Edit: as much as I hate to say it.... you will get some better responces for this on TBB in their tactics and strategy section. Lots of the responce you get wont be of FUMBBL quality but you will get a few really good pieces of advice from good players who go to alot of this sort of tournament, they will have a bit more experience with this specific type of team. |

Yeah, I posted pretty much the same thing on TBB a couple of days ago. Just thought I would see what FUMBBL people had to say about it as well.

Actually that might be an idea, drop some skills and buy an extra lineorc with Dp and go foul crazy. LRB5 encourages brainless fouls so you may as well get 13 players and go stomp happy, you could even give the gobbo sneaky git. |

Why do you think LRB5 encourages brainless fouls?

The removal of the eye. In LRB4 there's an incentive to not keep fouling unless your opponent fouls back (and consequently, there's an incentive to not foul back if you ARE said opponent) LRB5, if your team's built for it, boot every single turn. And if it's not, never, ever, boot. That's why. |

Troll has to go. Just not worth the money.
Fouling on lrb5 is a mixed blessing. Assuming you can break the armour, there is 11/36 chance of getting sent off and 15/36 chance of removing your opponent from the pitch. This is a pretty even trade, because the fouled player has a 60% chance of being only KO (if he's hurt at all). Of course, DP changes the statistics quite a bit, even if it's only +1.
All that said, going foul happy (with orcs) is a risky tactic and I definetly dont recommend sneaky git (or any skill for that matter) on the goblin.
Tackle is likely to be more effective than stripball.
Just say no to inducements. An additional orc, or even better, a reroll is more cost effective.
To sum it up, here's what I would do:
Change stripball on blitzer to tackle.
Boot the troll.
Get another lineman, give him DP. (And foul only when you get a nice gangfoul)
Get a third reroll. |

I'm not so sure about getting rid of the Troll. His combination of ST5 and Guard will make him hard to move as well as very handy in forming a cage. Even without Block he only has an 11.11% chance of causing a turnover on a 2d Block (without a reroll). Add in Mighty Blow and the fact he can stand on the LOS and I think he will be a useful part of the team.
