One of the complaints that many coaches have expressed about B is the lack of a competitive goal. Many feel that tournaments are the most interesting competitive format.

What about a preconstructed tournament? I understand these exist in RL.

You'd build your own tournament team from scratch using a fixed amount of gold and then have it matched via the B scheduler vs other tournament teams in a KO format. The rounds would operate on a set schedule rather than every 30 minutes and you'd have X amount of days to play your match like in other tournaments.

The scheduler's TS cap would be removed for this purpose.

I am thinking eligibility should be linked to BWR in some way.

What I like about this approach is that it gives B a distinct flavor. Tournaments would use preconstructed teams, and the open play in B would be less focused on team building, and more on winning.

After tournament what would hapend to teams, they would be retired automaticly?

I could play in one. But only if there is some kind of reward, like a free lino or +1FF on some other team of your choice etc.

That would require a whole new interface for building your team, I can't see effort exceeding return here.
