hi!
i am an internet noob =), but managed to make a teamlogo for my khemri team:
http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=647430
but the white background is not transparent which i would prefere since it looks much better.
also i havent a program on my computer to manipulate the picture much (got paint, but i think this isnt the right program to do the changes)
so can somebody be so kind and change the white places to transparent?
thanks a lot, gratings wolfgang
p.s. i promise "let me entertain u" will do just bh if we met on the field |

download GIMP
Then the way i do it is - I colour the whole back ground a colour like purple then select the option for 'colour to alpha', then select the same purple to turn alpha, then you are done.
However for some reason sometimes it messes up all the other colours in the picture and sometimes it works perfectly.
Thats the only way i know how to do it though. |

Garion: colour to alpha will remove the purple, and also purpleish zones will become slightly transparent. The improved way is to use a selection before running the filter, to limit it to the purple zone and near edges, protecting the purpleish zones so they are not touched at all. |
