The Aquanurglers lost, but got invaluable PR value for their establishment.

Some great games been played! The go go's 1-0 loss to the Spevna's Norse was one of the most entertaining games I've watched in a long time. A big win against the cheaters, means the go gos are in prime form to take on harvestmouse's khemri. 
Somerset may have lost to PT(insert 4 digits), but he's done enough damage that it'll be difficult for PT to win both his remaining local games!

Great game between StanRichardson's Yates Cheese Lodge and my Blackrock Peons last night. The rats scuttled away with a deserved 2-1 win after a poor selection of footwear on the part of the orcs (second-hand pub team shoes) saw plenty failed GFIs.
Looking forward to the next one against some gobbo cheaters, if I can get my hands on any of the little blighters... |

After 2 exciting games, the Desert Dark Ale'ers are happy with how things are going, and sit joint top of their division. However may lose out on first place on goal difference!
Overall it's been fantastic so far with some tight great matches. There have been a couple of mismatches though, particularly 1 or 2 of the stunty teams. I don't want this to become a stunty dominated league, but stunty teams may need a boosting review!
I'll put the weekly deadlines on the group page in the next day or 2 but week ones deadline will be the 27th June.

Well, the first game in SWL A (and inaugural BRT match!) was a bit of a fizzer. After a gutsy first half, during which Tomays dirty humies killed the heart and soul of the beastman drinking..er... bloodbowl team (Good Ol' Bob will be missed!), the rest of the match was a bust. Apparently, someone had the brilliant idea to spend the halftime break in a nearby tavern, whereupon the participants all got rousingly drunk, and completely failed to play out the second half... |

Night Storm Knights defeat beezam dorfs team in a hugely lucky game. The two keys of the game were:
a) Blitzz on first turn
b) nice BH on troll slayer
Now Big Party time at the pub for Lady Ophelia, Lord Bastian and their minions. |
