why some team logos display properly on the field (semitransparent) and other display as a solid image ?
Can someone explain me how must I do it so I got a semitransparent display?

Solid images are typically in jpeg format (since bmp is too big a filesize). Simple transparency can be achived using gif images, which allows for a colour to be transparent. More advanced transparency (translucency?) can be done using png images with an alpha channel. But png suffers the same problem as bmp -- relatively large filesizes. |

It's not the filesize which is large, it's FUMBBL which only allows tiny images. |

so If I upload a GIF file wih alpha channel the image will display semitransparent? |
