Release Notes Version 0.5.8

Yet another database purge due to model changes. Sorry folks.

Improvements:

* ANIMOSITY, MULTIPLE BLOCK and KICK-OFF RETURN skills implemented.

* IGOR inducement available.

* Player Detail layout changed (stat boxes closer to skills now)

* Journeymen are part of the FUMBBL post-game sequence now, so no more journeymen choice in the client.

* You can end your turn now before ending the move of a player.

* New test mode command: /stat <playernr> <stat> <value> sets a stat of a player on your team to the given value

* New test mode command: /turn <turnnr> jumps to the turn with the given number

Release Notes Version 0.5.9

Despite me being swamped with work currently Lakrillo kept on going, so we can bring you a new release. No new features, but some critical bugs fixed.

16 Bugs fixed:

#298 Can't hypno gaze after the 2nd GFI

#299 Game crashes when someone doesn't want to intercept.

#307 Spelling and grammar errors

#310 Wrong player sidesteps when pushed into sidestepper

#312 Ref bribe succeeds, player still banned.

Release Notes Version 0.6.0

Database had to be reset again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Improvements:

* You can mark both players on the field and field squares by doing a shift + click and entering a short text. These markers get saved and synchronized as well so that player you marked will have that mark even if you continue the game later.

* The chat has a back log now (via cursor up & down) just like you are used to in IRC.

* There is an optional range grid for Passing (and TTM), you can either set it to "always on" or toggle it on/off as you need.

* STAND FIRM skill use is optional.

* DODGE skill use is optional for POW/PUSHBACK block results.

* Vampires suffering from Bloodlust are marked with a blood drop icon.

* Shadowing skill works for Followup on Blocks.

* Visual feedback for used Re-Rolls.

* Undead teams automatically raise a zombie after a kill (playing a new sound) and NURGLES ROT skill is implemented.

50 Bugs fixed:

Release Notes Version 0.6.1 and 0.7.0

Version 0.6.1 has been renamed to 0.7.0 after going live. The versions are identical featurewise.

Improvements:

* Player icons for standard rosters are included in the client release and known icons are not downloaded. This way the download phase at the start of the game collects only customized icons and is much quicker.

* Players can be marked inside the Box now.

* Popups for skill use outside of a player's turn play a new sound to alert the player he has to do something.

* Fend skill use is optional now.

* Dodge skill use is optional under certain conditions (to reduce annoying popups):
1) The push is a potential chainpush, the three "opposite" squares are occupied.
2) It is the first turn after kickoff and a defending player has the potential to be pushed over the middle-line into the attackers half
3) There is a possibility that you would be pushed next to the sideline. Which is you are standing one square away from sideline and the opponent is pushing from the same row or from the row more infield.

Release Notes Version 0.7.1

Improvements:

* Overtime works now and can be triggered by the site. Go tournaments!

* I did a lot of work on the server communication. The release should improve upon latency issues and server crashes (resulting in unrecoverable games).

* The admin interface got refactored according to Christer's needs.

* Added optionality for Diving Catch on Passes and Kick-offs if more than one player from the same team could use the skill

* Added more descriptions to Break Tackle if it was used during a dodge or not.

* Fixed several issues where a reroll during a block (like Sure feet on a blitz GFI) led to not being able to use another reroll during that block.

* Injuries which was healed to Badly Hurt by the apo was not counted before in the team statistics as the player could continue playing, they now count as a Badly Hurt.

Improvements:

* Petty Cash is implemented. Both sides get to transfer money from the treasury (if available) and choose inducements (if available).

* Spectator sounds cooldown time set to 20 seconds (was 10 seconds before).

* /boring and /ref spectator sounds deactivated .

* The number of spectators watching a game is reported on the games page.

* Several improvements to the admin interface will help site admins to help players.

Release Notes Version 0.7.3

This release is pushed out earlier than intended because of the ongoing problems with the FFB server
connecting to Fumbbl for game updateds, uploads etc. So no exciting new features this time, I'm afraid.


Improvements:

* Improved handling of failed connection attempts to the Fumbbl server.

* Double hiring of Stars works as per the rules. The Star takes the money from both teams and plays for neither.

* Spectator sounds overlay, so mass cheering or booing sounds good again.

Release Notes Version 0.7.4

This is a feature release which contains no bugfixes.

Improvements:

* 9 new spectator sounds representing crowd noises (with one exception) and overlap nicely.
Thanks to minenbonnie for helping with those.
The new sounds are: /aah /boo /cheer /clap /crickets /laugh /ooh /shock and /stomp

* Wizard inducement is available.
Thanks to WhatBall for the wonderful animations.

* Game options available for league commissioners.
- Sneaky git works like Guard for fouls
- +1 AV Modifier for fouls if fouler is not in an opposing TZ
- Right Stuff cancels Tackle on POW/PUSHBACK rolls
- Piling On ReRolls do not get modified by skills (such as Claw and MightBlow)

Known limitations:

* The wizard may be used at the beginning or the (regular) end of a turn, it doesn't work yet on turnovers. Working on it for the next release.

This is just a small bugfix release for the ongoing Fumbbl Cup.

Improvements:

* Support for off-roster positionals (players gained through tournament wins that are not on the regular roster for that team).

* Support in game options to skip team ownership tests (necvessary for the new [A]cademy devision)
