So far i'd say I lost more passing opportunities to selecting a MOVE action than not. Only one of those was critical towards win/draw, but all of those situations were mightily annoying.

This was never an issue in TT, since by general consent we allowed backwards redeclaration of an action (or rather, apart from blitz nothing was really 'declared' anyway, we just took note that noone passed twice etc.)

A way to make something like this work in the client would be, to either:

- Allow UNDO of the last action, as long as no dice were rolled, this would double at covering some misclicks
- Allow the petioning of one's opponent to allow changing the current MOVE action into another action (which has obviously not been used yet). The opponent could then decide to allow or disallow this.

This could also be further restricted to a fixed number of times during each match.

Sorry mate, but you are somewhat missing the point of 'declaring' the pass.

I think the 100% NO! after 7 votes says enough.

looks like youve played just a few games on the new client? trust me it all becomes much more natural after afew games more and then you'll be in the situation where the skijunkie client seems weird : )

This is correct, I have been there and made mistakes but trust me by your 10th or 20th game it should never happen again, unless you get too excited and forget, in which case calm down lol Wink

How about 100% after 31?

The thing that got me was when you move to pick up the ball, you have to declare 'pass' before you technically have the ball. Which is odd to do.

LordVader82, that is not odd at all if you think about it.
For players with bonehead and the like, it is very important that you declare the action before starting to move, as a failed bonehead roll would mean that your pass action is wasted for the turn. (this is in the rules)

Sorry, we can't play by your house rules here... nor anyone elses either.
That would just confuse things.

Would open up a whole slew of pointless arguments that'd go nowhere. I'd like if the declaration buttons were... a bit more "child-friendly" (big, colourful, seperated by space), because I declare the wrong action a lot more than I pick the wrong Block Dice.

It might be an idea to backward redeclare this "petition" as a forum misclick and allow the OP to leave the area with some dignity.
