ive got a bug with the new patch 7.3
ive reinstalled twice now and its still happening the second time, the pitch is black on the java client screen, everything else is fine but the pitch is black, anyone else suffered this probelm, and if so how dod you overcome it ?

Just wait a while. It sometimes takes a bit longer to load rosters.

and make sure your monitor is on the right resolution 1024 x summat I think, it tells ya somewhere |

hmmm ok tried waiting it still aint working 
im on 1024 X 768 so that should be ok
it seems like its the pitch image thats got the problem everything else is fine ive got roster working fummbl login everything is ok just black pitch gooo dang it  |

heh!!!
dont worry people ive found a solution at last
ive simply downloaded some new pitch images and created a file in my pics folder named 'fields' then when the game is created i right clicked of the pitch but in the client and changed cfileds to one of the ones downloaded, so if anyone else out there is having troubles of the same veriety then do this and your away

Then your real problem was that you didn't install properly. You need to install both the 7.0 version, and the patch. The problem you describe comes from not installing the 7.0 version before the patch, or not unzipping it properly. |

I don't think it's about proper installing.
This happened to me but i got it fixed easily when at the beginning of the game on my own turn i right-clicked to bring up a pop-up where you can view the team rosters, sync, concede and so on. There's also an option to change field. Choose one of them, and the problem should be fixed. |
