I like the images on the new block dice. But perhaps it would be an idea to be able to either customize the block dice yourself, or have some dice themes to choose from?
Just throwing it out there 
edit: I created this thread because i heard that some coaches disliked the current block-dice. At a later stage, this would probably be an easy thing to modify. (I don't need it personally) |

Well, i played [F] when it first became available. Back then they used the Blockdice from the Javabb client. (changed to the current design)
I will rephrase to "the current blockdice" |

Admittedly it did throw me a little for my first game, at a push 2. But really it isnt hard to work out what they mean, and im sure everyone will be used to them after 2 or 3 games. That said I still think this is a good idea. I'd imagine Whatball would be able to come up with some pretty good ones.
It would also be pretty funny if you could make them race specific, So if you playing with flings a skull could be a pitcure of a dead fling with crosses over his eyes. etc....

I'v watched a couple of matches FFB, these block dice are hmmm, the skulls are too squared. I think a cartoonist wasn't an artist I would be happy to see something other there and maybe a bit bigger. When i'v started speccing matches then i didn't knew where are "block dice". These pics are too dark and too small.
I am sure, that some artist can create something better. |

the dice are fugly.
And it always looks to me like the wrong dice gets 'pressed' or chosen.
But i guess i'll get used to it. |

Let Lakrillo and Kalimar focus their energy on the more important subjects... Cosmetics should be the last thing they spend time on right now... That said, as said above, you will get used to it. |
