In my last poll PIE was the favourite option of all. I am quite new to fumBBL and even more so to the Forum but no-one answered my question as to why we have PIE on polls?

Is it one of those things that started and now everyone has lost sight of why it started in the first place?

Regardless of the answer I have decided that the best solution is to create a poll with nothing but PIE as the options Very Happy this will also gauge everyones favourite type of PIE and (maybe) eliminate the opion of PIE on polls, as if you want PIE this is the place to get it!

I don't trust anything marked as 'Meat' Pie, because I am a bit unsure about what the 'Meat' is.

As for Mince Pie, anything can be churned up into small pieces, so that's not ideal either.

I am torn between Chicken and Mushroom (Savoury) and Apple Pie (Pudding), but went for the former.

As mentioned above, Fisherman's Pie tends to go down quite well, but that tends to be in potato, rather than pasty.

I like shepherds pie myself. Or cottage pie, but I can never remember which one's which. With brown sauce.

Every forum poll needs a 'i dont care option' ours took the form of - a common forum user (macavity) / foodstuffs (cake, pie) / recent topics (space marine team)

I believe (guessing) that pie was formed over halfling discussions about what they eat and what the chef distracts you with, and then 'feeding the trolls'.. with pies

I think Cottage Pie is Beef and Shepherds Pie is Lamb (Sheep or Ships if you are a Nac Mac Feegle), since the Shepherds would have easy access to the meat Wink
