Edit: Ya..just took another look at it and the hit direction was bad and leap would have been the better move...good point...

Shraaag's script's page has an AWESOME new feature that makes a sortable html table of all players, great for the stats guys. It seems right now it can only do about 8 teams at a time, so you will have to break the league into 2 chunks and recombine.

Yeah, its a pretty sweet script. Too bad you can't alter it to only include the current season. That would require running this and keeping the info in a spreadsheet I guess and manipulating it there. Lots of different stats could be pulled from the info in there. |

Not much to say from the show despite Nightbird's troop having terrible bad rolls early on the first half. Indeed, coach Madcow blitzed twice with double skull, RR wasted, to end the LOO first two turns. Then RAWR on the third one... Québec stole the ball easily and stalled a few turns before almost seeing their drive ended into a failure after Sandrine rolled a double skull too. She fixed her mistake two turns later with scoring the TD.
Despite a very sunny day, the Carnies wanted to play the ball in the air anyways. Sandrine misthrew her pass, giving another chance to LOO but the Dwarves couldn't pick the ball. Marty Marlboro dumped-off to Sandrine on the next turn so she notch her 2nd TD.
She also niggled LOO's blodging Hobgoblin, apo fixed him on time though.
Nothing more to say than it was Sandrine's night and surely not Nightbird's. I sincerely send my sympathy to him because he suffered a whole 16 turns of bad rolls, really...

Moar Week 13 Action:
Winnipeg 1-1 Saskatchewan
A game that figured big 'D' and tiny 'o' for both teams.

Bombers won the toss and elected to receive. The intention was to start the party right and bring the pain to the Gophers. A well aimed rock KO'd Steve Morley and it all went sideways from there.
By turn 3 the bombers were down four players and the offensive was stalled at the line of scrimmage. The only bright spot of the drive was when Lyndsay jumped up to block but was stiff armed by Chris Walby and KO'd off the pitch.
Saskatchewan continued to KO Bombers off the ball while Chris Walby went on a rampage far from the action killing and maiming. Perhaps fearing the Minotaur Saskatchewan punched it in before the end of the half allowing Winnipeg recover most of their players for the start of the second half Gainer succumbed to the extreme heat and the Gophers started their offensive drive down a monster.
The heavens opened up and the ball was kicked off into a torrential downpour. Aided by a touchback the ball was collected and caged...then the Bomber D went to work. Under relentless pressure the Gophers attempted to punch up the sidelines. They got pinned... then surfed and then the retreating ball carrier was sacked deep in their own half by Milt Stegal.
The Gophers valiantly attempted to prevent the tying score but were out manned and out muscled. Milt carried it over the line tying the game at 1-1 as the final whistle blew. |

Okay - also POTM 3 PM has been sent out. Once the last week 13 game has been played, the POTW PM will be sent out. |

Week 13 action:
Calgary 3-0 Dumpsville
It has been a long time since we could celebrate a victory - and this game looked like anything but a victory early on. We had the ball and removed several norse, but poor play in the clutch again doomed our chance at a touchdown and it was 0-0 at the half.
Second half we were kicking off, but were up 3 players, we blitzed the ball, burned a RR, but Lucy could not drop the blodger. The norse runner sprinted towards the endzone...it looked like we would go down 0-1, only Kate Lam could reach and it was a 2 gfi blitz...but she charged - and made it AND got the POW - sending the ball flying. The norse could not reclaim the ball, and instead of just playing it safe, Kate grabbed the ball and fired it downfield, a handoff and it was a TD to put us up 1-0...then on the ensuing kickoff we blitzed - with Kate catching the onsides kick...the norse rushed her, but she dodged away, more gfis and then another pass - this time to Vicki Nelson, and it was 2-0. Not slowing down, Kate grabbed the ball yet again - this time taking it in herself for a much appreciated 3-0 win.
It has been a while, but we finally put a solid half together (granted against a very short-handed norse team - but we will take *any* good news!) |

There might be some week 14 action tonight.
BC Felions vs Winnipeg Claw Bombers in the rematch of Beauty and the Beasts.
Who's gonna be the Belle of the Ball?
Last match was a brutal 3-0 shellacking by the scanty clad killers, and the Bombers are looking for a little payback... okay ... okay... *mucho* payback in their desperate drive to make the playoffs.
Climbing over a pile of broken amazons to do it would be the icing on the cake. |
