Hey all,

I've been tasked with doing some recruitment for our table top Blood Bowl league, the BBLOC (Blood Bowl League of Calgary), and though this would be a good forum to try and find some extra local players!

We currently have 12 coaches in our league and are looking to expand to 14 or 16 for next season. The current season will likely wrap up around mid September, with the next season starting shortly after that.

The league is run using a semi-scheduled format that allows for some flexibility for coaches when it comes to completing their games. Games are scheduled in groups and given a soft-deadline, and coaches can pick and choose the order they want to complete the games in. We normally meet up once a week to play games en-masse, but some coaches also plan games on off nights to help keep things moving along.

Our current season will end up being 11 games (plus playoffs) long, and future seasons will be between 10 and 13 games long (depending on the number of players). When we set deadlines for games, we estimate that each coach will need to play at least one game a week in order to complete their matches. This keeps the league moving along and doesn't put too much pressure on coaches if they have Real Life commitments.

Currently, we are a bash heavy league, but there are a handful of coaches that will be playing rookie teams next season, so it is safe to say that we will likely end up with a good mix of bash, agility and T2/T3 teams.

If anyone is interested, you can post here or send an email to davidsavill[at]gmail[dot]com for more information. Or you can come down to the Sentry Box on Sundays and check us out there! We usually have a good amount of people down there on any given Sunday Smile

Thanks,
dsav
