I'm far from convinced of that. But I suppose all cash is good cash. |
Unless you are LSE and the cash is from Libya. |

I'd kick in money for three sets. Keep me in the loop for whenever I'd need to pony up with the cash. |

Well I saw they have pointy corners, and that made me think of you! Fully precision dice have to see-through, don't they? Which would ruin the theme a little, but as they are, they should be more precise (if you would ever notice such a thing) than standard block dice. |

4. To get these manufactured, we will need people to pledge a total of somewhere around 400 sets of dice, or the equivalent amount of money. We may add limited non-dice-related parts to the kickstarter project to improve the probability of successful funding. This is, as you may imagine, also uncertain at this point (and I am open for ideas if you have them). |
Some ideas:
1) Add a FUMBBL gold account for 2? months for $10
2) Have a FUMBBL tournament entry, for the ones that pay over a certain amount. No prize apart from coolness, and having the "FUMBBL Kickstarter" tournament win on your profile. Maybe have that as a tier before the dice...
3) Have a mini-league buying competition, and the league who gets their members to buy the most dice (I'm looking at you WIL) gets some kind of one off FUMBBL promotion (ie a news post or something).
4) Maybe SunDevil can think of more ideas? I assume the colours are set and will need to be the same for the entire run, so no special gold painted symbol dice as a prize...
IE a $10 tournament entry donation, $25 dice, $35 gold account for 2 months.
No idea how much of this you are willing to do, but just throwing some ideas out there |

Casino precision dice need to be clear so that they can be sure there are no imperfections. These could be precision dice, main thing is being very close to perfect cube and symbols being filled with the right stuff.
It would be awesome if precision dices were possible, even as a very expensive option on the kickstarter. |

@Jimmy: I don't think they will be Precision dice. I personally am not overly fond of clear dice and they don't match with the FFB dice. Maybe a second run in the future could be a smokey precision die with single colour print?
@Hito: Thanks for the ideas. I think we already have some VERY tempting and unique pledge levels, just need to get Christer's approval on a few ideas. |

It would be cool if FUMBBL could host a tournament like TT has. A 2-3 day swiss resurrection 6-9 game tournament and charge a fee, where you'd get the dice as a give away. If the World cup could get around 400 geeks to show up to Amsterdam and pay $100+, I'm sure FUMMBL could crush those numbers. And charge a lot less, cause of no venue fees. |
