Since licensing seems to be a concern with the new sounds in the client, I was wondering if this site's licensing agreement would pass the test?
I ask because there are some sounds on here that seem ready made to plug into the client. They have that "cartoon" feel that match up well with the other ones currently being used.
Here's a sample:
'Ooo...'
'Aww Man!'
'Laughter'
'Yay!'
If those are too silly, there's plenty more sounds from real sporting event crowds that are a bit more realistic or "serious.". A few other files like a "Defense, defense" cheer could be cut down to size.
Is this site a viable option for FFB client sounds? |

There was a suggestion for "/cher" to be added, just to make typos that much worse.

@pizzamogul: u realize that these sounds have to be bought one by one. do u? I kind of liked "awww men". but don't know if it's "drowdy" enough to sound well overlayed with cheers and boos other specs may be sending at the same time. |

The way I read it, once the sound has been bought it can be used in the client since there is no longer a sounds directory that is being placed on everyone's harddrive. Correct? There are no further royalty concerns after the initial purchase?
I'd be willing to purchase/pay for the sound files. Most are less than $5 U.S.
There are some other sounds that are more "stadium" like with 'ohs' and 'ahs'. I'll dig them up when I get back to a computer to see if anyone likes them. |

I like the idea of more sounds for sure, but not sure the ones posted are 'the ones'. They sound kinda like they are background from a sit-com? Not ideal for BB IMO. Of course I've no alternatives to offer either. 
I'm wondering if we might some day add some 'coaches only' sounds like: 'Alright now, let's go get em!' or 'Damn good play out there...damn good play!' or 'What are you doing...No, No, No!?'

Yes, the site owns the samples, and if you pay for them, you have the right to use them. This means that the purchase will be one-time only. Sounds perfect for the current purpose. |

I thought we were looking for crowd sounds? If all the sounds are being redone I'll need to talk to a financial planner to push my retirement back a year or two!
