I would just like to say a bid thank you to Christer and all those who donated, in getting this nasty situation sorted in ultra quick time.
I noticed there were site problems around lunch time yesterday, however when I next tried to log in I was shocked to read that something hightechery had gone PHUT (or BOOM I'm not sure which Sci Fi to believe when concerning computers blowing up) and how costly it was going to be.
As I read further I was amazed to see that the donation target had already been met already. Those that donated, must have given a fair amount, and done so instantly and with no second thoughts.
I felt a lot of pride in you guys and the site, that the rallying call was met without thinking twice about it, and even though I hate nearly all of you, it's nice to see such a tight community.
We know who some of the contributors are, and to you and the others I'm sending out a manly internet fist touch. You truly deserve it. |
