No one can predict their, or anyone else's next opponent. It is king of the hill format, also known as random redraw.

Sad Can it be changed? I'm quite happy in the opposite side of the qualifier to Malmir ! Very Happy

Heh its clawpomb CDs then dorf if my orcs somehow make it thru then!
Lots of dorfs in the tzeench one. Here I thought dorfs were rigid and opposed to change! Wink

Whats up with all the nurgle heretics in the tzeentch one btw?!

Since Im a fluff guy I had to add some to my teams bio.
Underappreciated song IMO.

Now see...where you find this a little troubling, I think it's great news! The races my CDs have the most trouble with (according to my W/D/L stats at least) are khemri and chaos (no idea why I'm 0/0/2 against khemri). My record against the actual races in the Champion of Tzeentch qual are great.

I don't know if I can get past all your silly stat-freak blitzers, but I look forward to just about anything I'd draw next.

Who will win? 3x Clawbombing (with a couple spare MB and a noob-claw) Cdorfs, or +MA, +ST and +AG crazed orcs?

Surely Tzeentch is the metagame group, worst prize by far IMO.

Extra arms the worst prize? My Throw-ra disagrees.

N.B. The above statement is independent of the fact that I would of course have to win not just one game but the entire competition.

Go ahead and lay down your money right here, my "Rich" rats could use a little bit of extra cashflow Wink

Here's the Tzeentch and Nurgle Champion qualifier predictions;

Khost, Nurgle, 1900k vs. Planet Pain Decaying, Nurgle, 2110k
2.02 to 1 against Khost

Dream Of A 1000 Cats, Vampires, 2420k vs. Ize Ize Babyz, Dark Elves, 2080k
1.33 to 1 against Dream Of A 1000 Cats

Armored Deficiencies, Dwarves, 2140k vs. Ura Tool, Dwarves, 2130k
1.19 to 1 against Armored Deficiencies

CD Collection, Chaos Dwarves, 1930k vs. Green Rage, Orcs, 2170k
1.28 to 1 against CD Collection

Anahilistic Brothers, Nurgle, 2090k vs. Skypea Angels, High Elves, 1830k
1.26 to 1 against Anahilistic Brothers

Black Sithi, Wood Elves, 1970k vs. DeathClutch, Chaos, 1980k
1.15 to 1 against DeathClutch

Pro Popes, Pro Elves, 2100k vs. CPombination, Chaos, 1990k
2.79 to 1 against CPombination

Nosferatu's Nightmares, Vampires, 2090k vs. Laget runt!, Lizardmen, 2160k
2.37 to 1 against Nosferatu's Nightmares

Survival in the Box, Wood Elves, 2430k vs. Dancing with the wulves, Necromantic, 1940k
1.12 to 1 against Dancing with the wulves

Hauntedpark Underdogs, Necromantic, 1960k vs. Bat Villains Return, Nurgle, 1980k
1.09 to 1 against Batman Villains Return

Armoured Amazons, Amazon, 1910k vs. Harsch, Nurgle, 2190k
1.24 to 1 against Harsch

And Dalfort, just for you;
Sporting Khan-ri's, Khemri, 1590k vs. Cheese'n'Roll, Skaven, 1640k
8.04 to 1 against Sporting Khan-ri's

At least it isn't 35.15 to 1, I still don't quite understand how that got there. I tweaked the weighting of each factor a little bit today but I'll leave the old predictions the same.

Enigma, have you checked any of your past predictions? I'm just curious, because other than utter noobs playing, I have trouble believing any game is really more than 2:1 in either team's favor.

Results like 30:1 and 8:1 would only make sense if one of the coaches didn't know how to play the game. With veteran (not even exceptional) coaches, I'd lay money on almost anything that showed more than about 1.5:1.

How about this for fun: Assume I take the underdog on anything you predict at more than 2:1. Assume a "bet" of 1 unit, and we'll see how I fare by the end of round 1.

Gino, just for you, I plugged everything in and got 1.26 to 1 against for the Tigers.

Nice!!! Now that is how Box predictions should work. Spreadsheets, calculators, stats and then divide by pie to get your final prediction stat indicator.

Leave milford and his old ways back in Ranked were there is no science in picking. Box is for the math geek predictor were poor Milford would have no clue on how to predict.

Well you can predict all day long but only have a 1 in 7 chance of predicting right for the next round in a 16 team opening round.
